Holidaymakers have been left unable to use foreign currency firm Travelex's website or app for days, after its online systems were suspended due to a software attack.

Thousands of Tesco Bank customers' names, addresses and partial payment card information have been inadvertently leaked by provider Travelex.

Currency bureau Travelex has continued to accept applications from new customers for its Supercard, despite the fact that a technical glitch has meant that delivery of the travel cards has been suspended. If you don't want to wait for your Supercard, there are rival cards available offering similar exchange rates.

Some holidaymakers who've taken the new Supercard with them to spend overseas have found their personal identification numbers (PINs) don't work and their cards have been cancelled without warning, with replacements sent to their home address.

Currency specialist Travelex says it will provide the best-value overseas cash from a UK-wide bureau de change during three 'happy hour' sales, starting today at 4pm.
