Welsh Water (Dŵr Cymru) will give £10 in bill credit to each of its 1.4 million home and business customers this year, after an internal review found it had misreported the volume of water it lost to leaks between 2020 and 2022.

Free lateral flow tests in Wales will continue to be available for people showing Covid symptoms up until 31 July. An extension to the scheme comes after a surge in coronavirus cases in Wales with one in 45 people testing positive, according to the Office for National Statistics.

Anyone aged 25 and under who is registered with a Scottish dental practice can now get free NHS treatment. The change takes force immediately and patients aren’t required to opt-in. Those who started a course of NHS treatment before their 26th birthday can also now get this for free.

Most homebuyers in Scotland and Wales soon won't pay transaction tax on the first £250,000 of a property's purchase price, under temporary measures announced by the devolved administrations in the wake of the stamp duty cut in England and Northern Ireland last week.
