Hiya. I don't say this lightly, but overall I think in terms of MoneySaving quality and range this is the most jim-jampacked I've ever sent, so please take the time to fish through it all.

WARNING! CHRISTMAS IS COMING. ACT NOW!  Anyone cash-strapped should be considering financing Christmas immediately.  You've three months of pay to finance it, much easier than having to meet this huge expenditure out of December's cash alone, and possibly being pushed into debt.  Read Budget the MoneySavingExpert way or discuss Christmas Budgeting.

MORTGAGE & SAVINGS.  IT'S LEVEL PLAYING FIELD TIME.  We didn't get a base rate rise this month, so it's a good time for mortgage and savings comparisons as they're not impacted by who has and hasn't altered rates. BE BOLSHY! STOP SUPERMARKETS STEALING OUR CASH:  This makes me growl!  Request cashback from supermarkets and you have to initial the receipt BEFORE they give you the money.  This is wrong; we should only need to sign AFTER receiving the cash.  The silly procedure leaves people rushing out without their money (did it myself once).  Let's refuse to sign in advance; cause a fuss and it may make them change their policies.  I'm contacting the big four supermarkets to ask for a response.  Discuss cashback crassness/read supermarket responses.

THIS WEEK'S VOTE:  Pension planning Aaaargh or Ooooh.  Read the chat forum thread.

MS. THRIFT GOT MARRIED:  This Saturday is the first MoneySaving wedding as Chat Forum regular Ms. Thrift becomes Mrs. Thrift.  Ms. Thrift started the hugely popular MoneySaving Wedding Tips discussion.  Wishing the happy couple a healthy, happy and wealthy future. Say congratulations to Ms Thrift plus info on a free book about wedding planning.
