Stop telling students not to get into debt! Hiya. It's time our society grew up regarding student debt. For all but the kids of the super rich, taking out a Student Loan is obligatory. The “don’t borrow” message risks students thinking, “I’m in debt anyway so I’ll just borrow more!” and then using costly commercial debt instead that can lead to debt crisis.

More important messages are “don’t borrow more than you need”, “budget” and “understand the difference between 'good' & 'bad' debts”. The financial choices students make now can last for years. For more read the Parents Guide or Students Guide to Student Finance & Borrowing & watch my quick rant.

It’s never too late to get money savvy. The first rule is to understand that a company's job is to make money. They’re not bad for doing so, it’s their job. They spend billions on advertising, marketing and sales training; the problem is we don’t get buyers training. So pls spread the word & suggest to friends and family they get this e-mail by going to moneysavingexpert.com/tips

New EU rule means cheaper Mobile Roaming. Slash mobile costs when abroad
The EU has slammed down the cost of calling when abroad by capping charges at 38p/min to make calls and 19p/min to receive them. Sadly for now, these tariffs may only be available if you call your provider and ask for them; if you don't ask you won't get. Yet there are other ways to cut the cost; whether it's using hidden packages or international Sim cards.
