Don't miss today's Olympics ticket deadline
The deadline to apply for London 2012 Olympic tickets is today.
Those hoping to watch the games need to apply online by 11.59pm tonight.
But you can only apply using a Visa credit card, debit card or prepaid card that must not expire before May 2011.
You are not guaranteed tickets if you apply today. If an event is over-subscribed you will be entered into a ballot.
Following tonight's deadline, if your application is successful the money will be taken from your account at some point between 10 May to 10 June.
This means you must have sufficient funds in your account then. If you don't, your application could be rejected and/or you could be fined by your bank or credit card company for going over your limit.
You will be notified by the 24 June if you have been successful, although if you check your statement before you will see whether money has been taken.
If you have applied online for tickets but no longer want them you also have until 11.59pm tonight to withdraw your application.
If you are allocated tickets and later decide you no longer want them you will be able to resell them at face value early next year via an official London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games website.
However, even though you will pay for the tickets this May or June, you will not be refunded until next year.
