Which restaurants are running 'Eat Out to Help Out'-style 50% off discounts in September?
The Government's 'Eat Out to Help Out' scheme – which gave diners 50% discounts up to £10 per person on sit-down meals out from Monday to Wednesday – ended on 31 August. But scores of restaurants, pubs and cafés are continuing to offer a similar discount at their own expense.
Below we've listed both chain and independent eateries who are continuing to offer 'Eat Out to Help Out'-style discounts in September. Since we first published this story last week, you've let us know about dozens more restaurants doing this - we've marked those we've recently added below.
For a full rundown of the best discounts eating out, see our Restaurant Deals & Vouchers round-up.
Which eateries are extending 'Eat Out to Help Out'?
The list below is far from exhaustive and has come through manual checking, so please let us know if there's somewhere offering 50% off which we've missed - email us at news@moneysavingexpert.com.
Remember the deals below are the businesses' own schemes, so they may not tie up exactly with what the Government's scheme offered in August. While we've provided a brief summary of each offer, check directly with the restaurants for the full terms before you book. Since the discounts will be coming out of their pockets this time, rather than the Government pot, it's much less likely you'll be able to stack them with other offers.

Who's told us they're NOT extending the discount?
Several chains told us they won't be extending the 50% off, including Carluccio's, Frankie & Benny's, Fridays (formerly TGI Fridays), Fuller's, KFC, Las Iguanas, Tim Hortons, Wagamama and Wahaca.
That's not to say that they won't be running any deals though. Wetherspoon, for example, told us it's reducing the prices on a range of meals and drinks, Mon-Wed until Wednesday 11 November, as part of its 'Stay Out to Help Out' scheme. Fridays is offering a free appetiser with any main meal, Mon-Wed throughout September.
Some chains are also doing smaller discounts. For example, Bella Italia is taking 25% off mains, Mon-Thu throughout September, and Café Rouge is doing 25% off food from 1-3 and 7-10 September. You'll need a code to take advantage of both offers.
Some smaller businesses are also doing this, eg, Korto in London and Spanish City in Whitley Bay near Newcastle upon Tyne are doing 25% off food, Mon-Wed throughout September. Burger & Lobster in London is doing a lobster for £20 offer (normally £30), Mon-Fri throughout September. Boxpark, also in London, is doing 20% off meals, soft drinks and select alcoholic drinks (up to £10 off per person), Mon-Wed throughout September. It's also doing 20% off select food traders, Thu-Sun for Boxpark Black Card holders.
