If you click a link with an * to go through to a provider, we may get paid. This usually only happens if you get a product from it. This is what funds our team of journalists, and keeps us free to use. Yet there are two crucial things you need to know about this.
- This never impacts our editorial recommendations – if it's in, it's in there because we independently rate it best.
- You'll always get as good a deal (or better) than if you went direct.

Deliveroo 25% off selected restaurants
When you spend £20 or more. Incl Subway, Byron, Prezzo, Bella Italia, etc
ExpiredUntil Fri 27 Nov (at the time when your selected restaurant closes), Deliveroo is offering 25% off orders over £20 at 1,000s of restaurants including Subway, Byron, Prezzo, Bella Italia, Las Iguanas, Leon and many more (see 'More info' for full list of popular restaurants included). Not all chains are participating e.g KFC, Burger King, Nando's, etc.
Deliveroo say there are over 3,000 local takeaways and big chain restaurants involved in the Black Friday promotion, but your local may not be participating as many restaurants are currently unavailable or temporarily closed due to coronavirus restrictions or up to the restaurants own discretion. Check the app to find your local participating takeaways.
Delivery is based on different factors including distance (it can range from £1-5), and service charge (from 49p) is based on 5% of your order cost. Delivery and service costs are not included in the 25% off.
In order to see which eateries are participating, head to the Deliveroo site or app and look out for the Black Friday banner or '25% off' red badge.

From small restaurants only, via weekly codes
ExpiredThroughout September, you can get £5 off orders of £20 or more with takeaway service Deliveroo when you enter a code during online checkout. The 'Eat IN to Help Out' promotion applies to small local restaurants, though big chains can choose to opt in at their own expense. It runs Mon-Wed throughout September.
There are 100,000 available redemptions each week, so go quick if you want to bag one – you can use each week’s code once.
To claim your £5 off, use the following codes, depending on the date:
- Tue 1-Wed 2 Sep: EATIN1
- Mon 7-Wed 8 Sep: EATIN2
- Mon 14-Wed 16 Sep: EATIN3
- Mon 21-Wed 23 Sep: EATIN4
- Mon 28-Wed 30 Sep: EATIN5
Deliveroo says more than 16,000 local restaurants are involved. You can find out which ones are eligible by looking out for the ‘Eat in to help out’ icon. National chains are able to participate too but would have to fund the discount themselves - so you could see some of your big-chain favourites taking part.
What's more, newbies to Deliveroo can get free delivery for 14 days in September and October. Just create an account and the perk will be added automatically.
If you fancy venturing out of the house for your grub, see which restaurants are running 'Eat Out to Help Out'-style 50% off discounts when you dine in this month.
