If you're planning to buy your Christmas food shop from Asda, you can now bag your delivery slot as bookings have opened today (Tuesday 10 October) for all shoppers.

Tesco Clubcard users now have an extra two days to triple the value of points to spend on 'Reward Partners' as the supermarket has extended the deadline until 11.59pm on Thursday 15 June. It comes after shoppers experienced IT issues when trying to swap vouchers ahead of the previous deadline.  

Major supermarkets including Asda and Tesco are currently imposing restrictions on certain fruit and vegetable purchases, including tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers, due to supply shortages. In many cases you'll only be able to buy a limited number of each item. Below, we've compiled a list of which supermarkets have restrictions and what their rules are. 

Sainsbury's has promised to give shoppers who missed out on its in-store points promotion £5 in Nectar points. It comes after MoneySavingExpert.com pushed the supermarket to ensure shoppers who met the minimum spend for Saturday's promotion didn't go empty-handed after a "technical error" meant vouchers weren't issued. We had threatened to report the supermarket if it didn't help shoppers.

Morrisons has launched a new feature for its loyalty card scheme which gives shoppers offers and discounts on certain items in-store and online. You don't need to do anything to activate the deals but you will need to be a 'My Morrisons' member to get them. 

If you have a Sainsbury's credit card and use it to earn Nectar points, you have just one week until the supermarket cuts the number of points you earn when shopping at the retailer. From 1 November, you'll get just one Nectar point for every £2 spent at Sainsbury's.
