Tesco Direct to close in July
Tesco Direct - the store's online shop for non-food items such as clothing and homeware - will close in July.
Tesco's main website will continue to sell grocery products as usual, alongside a selected range of items that were previously available on Tesco Direct, but the Tesco Direct website will close on 9 July.
If you use the site, you can still make orders until then, but you won’t be able to select next-day delivery. Instead, orders will take two to five days to arrive.
See our 40+ tips to slash costs in our guide.
Can I still use coupons and vouchers?
Yes, you will still be able to use both at Tesco Direct online until the store closes.
You will be able to use your Tesco gift card in other Tesco stores, even after Tesco Direct closes.
What if I want to return an item?
Tesco Direct's normal returns policy still applies - the only difference is that where it may previously have offered a repair, replacement or refund, after 9 July it may only offer a refund.
See the full details of Tesco Direct's returns policy.
If I've pre-ordered an item for after 9 July will it still come?
No, if you've ordered an item such as a video game which isn't released until after 9 July, you'll be offered a refund. Tesco Direct will send you an email to confirm this.

What does Tesco say?
