Plusnet and John Lewis broadband customers will be automatically compensated for delayed repairs and loss of service. Plusnet, which also runs the broadband service for John Lewis, has joined nine other companies that are part of the regulator's automatic compensation scheme.

Sky Mobile's two million customers will be charged a £2 a day fee if they use their phone to 'roam' - make calls, send texts and access data outside of a free WiFi network - in Europe from today (3 May).

U Account holders can no longer access their accounts or use their prepaid cards to spend or withdraw cash as the digital bank closed the service from midday today (Tuesday 3 May). The app-based account is also no longer available to new users.
