Shoppers who've placed orders with troubled shoe firm Barratts have been told by the firm's administrator that their items should be delivered as planned.

Consumers who buy gift cards or vouchers for themselves or as a Christmas present have been urged to double-check the stability of the retailer before splashing out, to minimise the risk of losing cash.

Consumers with gift cards for retailers Habitat and Jane Norman are being urged to use them as soon as possible, as they'll soon be invalid.
