The UK's biggest broadband and mobile providers – BT, Sky, TalkTalk, Three, Virgin Media O2, and Vodafone – have agreed to a set of measures aimed at ensuring customers struggling to pay their bills during the cost of living crisis don't get cut off from essential services.

Vodafone's Voxi mobile network is now charging an up to £2 a day roaming fee that kicked in last week (23 June). New and existing customers will now need to purchase a European roaming pass to make calls, send texts and use data in 49 European countries and destinations. Here are all the details.

Millions of O2, Three and Virgin Mobile customers will be hit with price hikes of up to 11.7% this spring on the back of a sharp increase in the cost of living. O2 and Virgin Mobile, now known as 'Virgin Media O2' since merging, have pledged to continue offering free mobile roaming in Europe. It means holidaying Brits can use their data, calls and texts as they would in the UK. It comes as other major providers announce plans to reintroduce roaming fees later this year. 

O2 mobile customers who send text messages outside of their standard allowance will see prices hiked from 2 August. The cost of calling service numbers is also set to increase. Some affected customers may be able to leave penalty-free as a result though - we've full details below. 

Mobile users who sign up to a pay-monthly or Sim-only contract with O2 from 25 March, including existing customers who renew their contracts after this date, will be hit with price hikes of at least 3.9% from April 2022. It comes as the provider shakes up its terms and conditions. 

Mobile giants Three and O2 are raising prices, upping the cost of pay-monthly customers' mobile bills by 2.7%, MoneySavingExpert.com can reveal.

O2 and Three will increase prices for their pay-monthly mobile customers by 2.5%, after EE confirmed it would be hiking prices by 2.7%.
