Molly Greeves

News & Investigations Reporter

Molly joined MSE in July 2023, bringing with her two years of experience as a consumer writer for Good Housekeeping, Prima, and Red. Her interest in consumer journalism started at university, when she investigated the unacceptable conditions faced by students in rented housing for her student newspaper. This commitment to advocating on behalf of those who have faced unfairness remains central to her career.

Molly has covered a range of personal finance topics, from clarifying shoppers' rights when a company goes into administration to revealing the celebrities most commonly used by fraudsters in scam adverts. After researching the issues faced by carers who owe Carer's Allowance over payments, she became MSE's resident expert on the topic and has played a big role in our campaign to end the earnings cliff-edge.

Her stories have been featured in major outlets such as The Independent, the Evening Standard, the Daily Mirror and The Sun. In 2024, Molly was shortlisted for Rising Star of the Year at the Headline Money Awards.

Outside of work, you can find Molly chipping away at her novel, browsing charity shops or scouring London for the best pastel de nata.
