When Friday became Tonight yesterday. Hiya. Monday was frantic. Mid-morning I heard my ITV1 Tonight: Supermarket Cheap programme was urgently moving to that evening, so a Rugby special can go in its place on Friday. We battled against the clock to get it ready. Many who saw it in the week’s critic's choice (hoorah!), for Friday & thus missed it have e-mailed to ask if it'll be shown again. Don't worry, you can still Watch it: Tonight: Supermarket Cheap in the site's watch again section alongside Radio 4 Moneybox live on debts, and Radio 2 Vine on PPI reclaiming. Please continue to spread the word, suggest friends and colleagues get this free e-mail from moneysavingexpert.com/tips |

750,000 women in their 60s may be entitled to a secret pension
A parliamentary question by a Lib Dem MP has shown that many women in their 60s are unnecessarily missing out on the state pension. To get any pension you need to have paid national insurance for 10 years (more for men); around 750,000 women are believed to be just under this threshold. By offering to pay a few £100s you can start getting the basic pension and the back-dated payout from your 60th birthday, which is likely to be £1,000s. I say offer because you won’t actually need to layout the cash, as it will just be taken out of your pension back pay. Forum Note: State pension reclaim Related Article: 5 Min Benefit Check Up

British Gas has launched a new tariff for those prepared to have dual fuel and be billed online, which for many people will be the cheapest. My top pick comparison service, Energyhelpline*, pays £15 cashback if it can switch you or alternatively MoneySupermarket* pays £30 for a dual fuel switch.
