Gumtree closes Daily Deals section but vouchers still valid

The classified website's deals section, which sold customers discount vouchers to use on goods, services and events in their area, shut down last week after it decided to "focus on core areas" of its business.

But while deals will no longer be sold, anyone with a valid voucher can still use it, subject to the stated terms and conditions.

Gumtree says users will also still be able to log in to their accounts and access their voucher codes.
