Warning: Aldi, M&S, Sainsbury's, Tesco, and more recall chicken products over salmonella fears - here are your refund rights
Major supermarkets, including Aldi, M&S, Sainsbury's, Tesco, and Waitrose, are recalling a number of chicken products over fears of a salmonella outbreak, with more shops also announcing that they have pulled items from their shelves. We explain your refund rights below.
The move comes after food processing company Cranswick said a routine internal inspection at its plant in Hull, Yorkshire had discovered salmonella - a form of bacteria often found in raw or undercooked meat - in "a limited number of cooked chicken products".

You can return any of the recalled products to the retailer for a full refund
If you have any of the products listed below at home, do not eat them. You can return any of the recalled items to the supermarket you bought them from and you will receive a refund, even if you don't have a receipt.

If you have questions for Amazon about recalled products, you can contact it by logging into your account and using the customer service button.
If you've purchased a Co-op product, you can phone its customer helpline on 0800 0686 727 or email it at customer.careline@coop.co.uk.

If you've bought a Waitrose product, you can call it on 0800 188 881 and choose option four.
