John Lewis has partnered with rental clothing brand The Little Loop to this week launch a subscription rental service for children's clothes. Amazon has shelved plans to stop people using Visa credit cards to buy items on the shopping platform from 19 January. It means users no longer need to update their payment details, although they can continue to do so in order to be awarded free credit.

Asda is extending its one-hour express delivery service to a further 92 stores across the UK. The service was first introduced at the beginning of the summer at four outlets and allows customers to place an order and receive their groceries to their door in under 60 minutes.
