Motorists filling up at Asda, Morrisons, Sainsbury's and Tesco are set to benefit as the supermarkets are cutting petrol and diesel prices by up to 2p/litre.
Sainsbury's Nectar card customers can exchange their points for vouchers of twice their usual value from today, to spend on Christmas goods including toys, homeware, Tu clothing, electricals and Taste the Difference wine.
If you're planning on filling up your car with petrol, wait until midday today at Tesco or until tomorrow at Asda, Sainsbury's or Morrisons as all four of the supermarkets are cutting fuel prices by 1p/litre.
If you normally fill up your car at Asda, Sainsbury's or Tesco, hold off until tomorrow if possible as the supermarkets plan to cut petrol prices by up to 2p/litre.
Morrisons customers will soon automatically get the price difference back if their grocery shop would have been cheaper at Asda, Sainsbury's or Tesco AND Aldi and Lidl, but only if they register for a loyalty card.
Morrisons customers can now use the supermarket's price-checker tool to compare past prices for some online products – but it can be beaten by MySupermarket's existing tool.
