Millions of Virgin Media customers will see their bills increase in March, with broadband, TV and home phone customers seeing average price hikes of £56 a year. Virgin Mobile prices will also rise in April. But while you can cancel penalty-free, we've learnt Virgin Media is offering automatic discounts to those calling up for a better deal, while MoneySavers have told us haggling has led to even bigger price cuts.

O2 and Virgin Mobile, now known as 'Virgin Media O2' since merging, have pledged to continue offering free mobile roaming in Europe. It means holidaying Brits can use their data, calls and texts as they would in the UK. It comes as other major providers announce plans to reintroduce roaming fees later this year. 

Virgin Mobile is to hit millions of mobile customers with price hikes of 1.5% from 1 July. The provider has confirmed it started to notify affected customers about the increase in early May - but you won’t be able to cancel penalty-free unless you are out-of-contract.

Around 140,000 pay-monthly Virgin Mobile customers will see their bills rise from April because the operator is scrapping some of its tariffs, MoneySavingExpert.com can reveal.

Virgin Mobile customers who were affected by Tuesday's outage will be offered free data or a day's refund of airtime charges, the firm has announced.

Hundreds of thousands of Virgin Mobile customers on pay-monthly contracts will be hit with a 2.4% price hike from Monday 1 July, MoneySavingExpert.com can reveal. And many found out on the day of a major service outage, with some unable to make calls, send texts or use data for hours.
