Poll

Valentine’s Day will be here this Saturday, but has using vouchers finally broken through the last taboo? Is it acceptable to use 2for1 restaurant vouchers on a first date? We ask this each year – let’s see if it’s changed… Imagine Nick asks Lucy to dinner on a first date, saying he’ll pay. When the bill comes, he pulls out a 2for1 voucher – what advice would you give Lucy?

Thursday 5 February is National Voter Registration Day (you can register here if you haven’t already). We believe it’s one of the biggest consumer decisions you get to make, but only 65% of people actually voted in the 2010 General Election. Since the 1980s the Government has privatised many essential services, often by floating previously state-owned companies. Those arguing for privatisation often focus on increased efficiency due to competition. Those against that say firms do what’s best for their shareholders and not for consumers. Please choose the option CLOSEST to your opinion:

From broadband to 0% cards, many of the best deals are short-lived, then you pay more. We want to find out which products you’re most likely to switch once the initial good deal ends. Please ONLY ANSWER FOR PRODUCTS YOU HAVE/HAVE HAD RECENTLY... and base it on what you actually do, not what you'd like to think you do.

With the festive season nearly here, parcel delivery firms are zipping around the UK helping out the big man in the red suit. Yet sadly parcel delivery horror stories abound - ranging from no-shows to “they threw the goods over the fence” or “they lied that we weren't in”. So it’s time for our annual poll to work out who are the good guys and who are the cowboys... Please rate your experience with each of these firms DURING THE LAST YEAR (don’t rate if you haven’t experienced their service).
