  • Beer Hawk 30 craft beers for £30 delivered

Beer Hawk 30 craft beers for £30 delivered

Some may be past 'best-before' dates but still safe to drink

MSE UPDATE Wed 4 Jul 12:24pm: This deal was included in the MSE weekly email and has proven really popular with MoneySavers and all 2,000 have now gone. We've kept the original deal below for reference.

If you go via this MSE Blagged Beer Hawk* link, you can get 30 'mystery' craft beers for £30 delivered. Beer Hawk normally sells mystery cases of 15 beers for £30 each, but with this deal you get two cases for £30.

To get this deal you'll need to visit the link above – there's no code needed, the discount has been automatically added. Of course, this isn't a 'down it in one' deal so please be Drinkaware.

The beer is clearance stock, with some beer duplicates, but each mystery case is different and you will receive a minimum of 10 different beers. Some of it is past its 'best-before' (see our use-by vs best-before guide) and while Beer Hawk can't guarantee how many beers will be past their 'best-before' date, it said the taste should be fine, with some actually tasting better off when stored away such as stout and porters. Even if you end up ditching a few, this is still a strong offer.

This deal ends at 11.59pm on Sun 8 Jul, or when all 2,000 bundles have gone, whichever's first. Each mystery box, which is not part of a subscription, will include a random selection of beer bottles and cans (see examples below) – you can't choose.

Delivery is next-day if you order before noon Mon-Fri (UK mainland only).

    What you could get

We've listed some examples of what you could get below, as well as the price you'd pay for it (or similar) elsewhere, not including delivery.

    • Magic Rocks Common Grounds coffee porter (5.4%) - £2.09 at Honest Brew
    • Victory Headwaters Pale Ale (5.2%) - £2.29 at Master of Malt
    • Mondo Dennis Hopp'r IPA (5.3%) - £2.69 at Honest Brew
    • Hitachino Nest White Ale (5.5%) - £2.35 at Master of Malt
    • Fyne Ales Highlander (4.8%) - £3.35 at ASDA

Beer Hawk sent us a sample mystery case of 15 beers and two-thirds were past 'best-before' – the majority of which were only one-to-three-weeks past, and the longest past 'best-before' date was April 2018.

These were the beers we received:

    • What's Beer Hawk?

Beer Hawk has been selling craft beers online since 2012, currently offering over 1,000 beers and exclusive homebrews. When we looked online we saw some good and bad feedback and on it had 4.39 out of 5 from 5,692 reviews.

We've only featured a couple Beer Hawk deals so let us know your experience via MSE Facebook and Twitter @MSE_Deals.

  • 24 craft beers for £55 code (norm £75)

24 craft beers for £55 code (norm £75)

Advent calendar, incl Brewdog, Thornbridge, Magic Rock

If you enter the MSE Blagged code ADVENTMSE online at Beer Hawk*, you can get its 24-beer advent calendar for £55 delivered (usually £75). UK mainland delivery is free, but sadly it'll cost an extra £5 for delivery to the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, Jersey or Guernsey.

This offer ends at 11.59pm on Sat 25 Nov, or when all 500 available advent calendars have gone, whichever's first.

There will be a mixture of 24 standard-size bottles and cans, weighing between 330ml and 355ml. Plus, you'll also get a tasting booklet.

This box bought separately elsewhere would very roughly cost at least £65 plus delivery, so we reckon £55 all-in is decent deal.

    What's in it?

We've listed the 24 beers included below, as well as the price you’d pay for each (or similar) elsewhere, not including delivery. We couldn't find two beers elsewhere, so we've included their RRP as an indication.

    • What's Beer Hawk?

Beer Hawk has been selling craft beers online since 2012, currently offering over 1,000 beers and exclusive homebrews. We've found good and bad feedback for it online, though most of the bad comments are about its 'mystery boxes' of beers, which sometimes include beers that are past their 'best-before'. However, we can confirm that all the beers included in the advent calendar are in-date. Plus it passed all of our usual checks.
