If you click a link with an * to go through to a provider, we may get paid. This usually only happens if you get a product from it. This is what funds our team of journalists, and keeps us free to use. Yet there are two crucial things you need to know about this.
- This never impacts our editorial recommendations – if it's in, it's in there because we independently rate it best.
- You'll always get as good a deal (or better) than if you went direct.

If you're a student, you can get 15% off The Body Shop* online and in store (find your nearest*), using your Unidays account. There are a few exclusions (see 'more info' below) and you can't get the discount on gift cards or with a 'Love Your Body' club voucher.
How do I get the deal?
You'll need to download the free Unidays app and sign up using your university email address. Search for The Body Shop, and then enter the unique code from the app at the checkout stage online or if you’re in store, show the five-digit code to a member of staff at the till.

There are always ways to save money at The Body Shop*, so even if there isn't a cracking deal out there that works for you, don't assume you can't cut your costs further.
Ways to save include:
- Discount codes. There's almost always a code you can use at The Body Shop, usually for at least 25% off and sometimes for as much as 40% off (occasionally valid on sale items as well as full-price). You'll normally see these advertised on The Body Shop's homepage, and at MSE we often feature the stronger ones in our weekly email newsletter.
- Student discount. Students can get 25% off full-price items at The Body Shop by registering with Student Beans. Yet as The Body Shop often has codes for 30%-40% off, check for one of these before using student discount as you may be able to save even more.
- Try haggling. We polled 1,400 MoneySavers to find out in which shops hagglers have most success. In our poll, 33% of hagglers said they'd managed to blag a discount at The Body Shop, so it’s definitely worth a try. Find out more in our Haggle on the High Street guide.
- Check similar retailers. If you're not committed to buying from The Body Shop, check for deals from other beauty retailers such as Boots, Crabtree & Evelyn or Superdrug.
- Had a problem with The Body Shop? There’s a free online tool you can use to complain - it helps draft, manage and if necessary escalate your complaint. It’s offered by a firm called Resolver, which we like so much we work with it to help people get complaints justice - you can use it to complain to The Body Shop*.

The Body Shop 25% off full-price
Via code. Online and in stores
ExpiredIf you go online to The Body Shop* or into a store (find your nearest*) you can get 25% off almost everything until 11.59pm on Monday 28 November. If you're shopping in store, this discount will be applied automatically. Online shoppers will need to use the code BLACKFRIDAY at the checkout.
The code applies to almost everything but excludes gift cards, sale items or the 'Gift of Joy' star gift. This code can’t be used alongside any other promotion or offer. You however can use 'Love Your Body Club' membership vouchers towards your payment.
The Body Shop told us the discounts won't be getting any deeper, however it usually has deals on Cyber Monday too, so it could be worth waiting until then if you’ve got your eye on something.
There are also 'Black Friday' bundles* which The Body Shop says could save you over 50% compared to buying the products individually – though do weigh up if you need every item and if it works out cheaper for you this way. You can't stack the 25% off code alongside these bundles, and the following stores are not taking part in this particular deal: Exeter, Plymouth, Hove, Horsham, Cambridge 1, Cambridge 2, Norwich and Sheffield.
Delivery starts from £3.49 or free if you're spending £35 or more. It should take three to five working days from your order date to arrive if you order by 2pm.
Here are some strong deals we spotted when we checked on Tuesday 22 November:
- Foam & Merriment shower gel trio gift set* – £4.50 with code (normally £6)
- Vanilla body mist* – £8.25 with code (normally £11)
- Ginger hair & scalp scrub* – £11.25 with code (normally £15)
Important: Don't get caught up in the Black Friday hype, and keep our money mantras in mind – only ever buy what you need and can afford. You should always do your own price comparisons to ensure you’ve found the best deal available – don't simply take a retailer's word for it.
