  • There are always ways to save money at The Body Shop*, so even if there isn't a cracking deal out there that works for you, don't assume you can't cut your costs further.

    Ways to save include:

    • Discount codes. There's almost always a code you can use at The Body Shop, usually for at least 25% off and sometimes for as much as 40% off (occasionally valid on sale items as well as full-price). You'll normally see these advertised on The Body Shop's homepage, and at MSE we often feature the stronger ones in our weekly email newsletter.
    • Student discount. Students can get 25% off full-price items at The Body Shop by registering with Student Beans. Yet as The Body Shop often has codes for 30%-40% off, check for one of these before using student discount as you may be able to save even more.
    • Try haggling. We polled 1,400 MoneySavers to find out in which shops hagglers have most success. In our poll, 33% of hagglers said they'd managed to blag a discount at The Body Shop, so it’s definitely worth a try. Find out more in our Haggle on the High Street guide.
    • Check similar retailers. If you're not committed to buying from The Body Shop, check for deals from other beauty retailers such as Boots, Crabtree & Evelyn or Superdrug.
    • Had a problem with The Body Shop? There’s a free online tool you can use to complain - it helps draft, manage and if necessary escalate your complaint. It’s offered by a firm called Resolver, which we like so much we work with it to help people get complaints justice - you can use it to complain to The Body Shop*.

If you spot any hot deals we've missed (we're only human!), let us know on Twitter @MSE_Deals, on Facebook or by emailing us at

  • If you sign up to the free Body Shop* 'Love Your Body' loyalty card, on your birthday you can get a free £5 to spend in store or online with no minimum spend (see full T&Cs*).

It's valid for up to one month after your birthday, there's no change from the £5, and you have to have made at least one purchase using the card previously to be eligible.

    MSE Laura says:

Even though this is billed as an 'up top 50% off' sale, I've spotted a few items which are discounted even more than this. On Thu 13 Jun, I found a £19 pomegranate firming day cream* reduced to £5.70 (70% off) and £10 vanilla chai bath foam* reduced to £4 (60% off).

  • The Body Shop £10 off £30 spend

    MSE Anthony says:

The Body Shop releases codes and vouchers all the time, so there's almost always a way to avoid paying full whack. While it isn't the strongest code we've seen (The Body Shop occasionally offers 40% off), £10 is a decent saving if there's something you planned to buy.
