1,000 pairs per show

For Exeter

Important: The Build It Live Oxford show has been cancelled due to a fire near the venue. Build It Live says ticket holders will be notified.

Thinking about renovating or extending your pad? You can get a pair of totally free weekend tickets (normally £12 each) for the Build It Live show in Exeter.

The details for the Exeter show are:

  • Westpoint Arena, Exeter (South West) – Saturday 13 September and Sunday 14 September

There are 1,000 free pairs available per show and you claim the freebies until the final day of the show, or when all pairs have been claimed, whichever's sooner.

How to bag the free tickets

  1. Go via our special Build It Live link and choose your preferred show.

  2. The free tickets code should be automatically applied, but if not, enter the code OFFER239 and then select the ‘Free Visitor Ticket’ – this will give entry for two people.

  3. You should be emailed your tickets within five minutes, though it could take longer during busier times – you can then print the tickets or show on your phone. Under-16s go free when accompanied by an adult and don't need a ticket.

Tickets get you entry on the Saturday and the Sunday, so you could go on both days if you wanted to.

You'll also be emailed a voucher before the show for a free 'Build It' magazine (normally £6.45) which you can pick up at the bookshop within the show.

If at any point you're asked to enter payment details, go back and try again as these tickets are completely free (unless you're booking extra adult tickets).

What is Build It Live? It's a building and renovation show where you'll be able to see thousands of products, ask experts for advice and attend workshops. The event is on between 10am and 5pm on Saturday, and 10am and 4.30pm on Sunday.

There's a little-known piece of legislation that turns any credit card into a financial self-defence superhero. 'Section 75' of the Consumer Credit Act means your plastic must protect anything you buy for more than £100 for free, so if there's a problem or the company goes bust, you can still get your money back.
And although Section 75 doesn't apply to debit cards, there is something else to fall back on if you've paid using a debit card, or used a credit card for a purchase under £100. Known as Chargeback, this is part of banks' and card companies' internal rules and not a legal requirement. Read full details of Section 75 or Chargeback, plus how to claim, in our guides.
What the * means above
If a link has an * by it, that means it is an affiliated link and therefore it helps MoneySavingExpert stay free to use, as it is tracked to us. If you go through it, it can sometimes result in a payment or benefit to the site. It's worth noting this means the third party used may be named on any credit agreements.
You shouldn’t notice any difference and the link will never negatively impact the product. Plus the editorial line (the things we write) is NEVER impacted by these links. We aim to look at all available products. If it isn't possible to get an affiliate link for the top deal, it is still included in exactly the same way, just with a non-paying link.
