MSE update, Thu 26 Aug at 12.28pm: This freebie offer has been very popular after we featured it in our MSE weekly email and tickets for Sat 2 Oct and Sun 3 Oct have all gone. When we checked, there were still tickets left for Fri 1 Oct.

If you're a flan of baking and want to meet some celebrity bakers such as Eric Lanlard, Rosemary Shrager and the original Great British Bake Off winner Edd Kimber – we’ve whisked up a treat for you…

We've 7,500 pairs of totally free one-day tickets to The Cake & Bake Show at ExCel London from Fri 1 Oct to Sun 3 Oct.

Breakdown of free tickets available each day

    • Fri 1 Oct - 4,000 pairs
    • Sat 2 Oct - 1,000 pairs ALL GONE
    • Sun 3 Oct - 2,500 pairs ALL GONE

Getting the free tickets is a piece of cake

Enter the code MSE2021CAB online at The Cake & Bake Show – you’ll knead to select the day you want to go and you can get two adult tickets per household. If going alone, you'll still get two as the free tickets only come in a pair.

Child tickets for ages 15 and under are also totally free (up to a maximum of two) and you'll need to select them when you book online. Child tickets won't count towards the 7,500 pairs of free tickets allocation.

If at any point you're asked to enter your card details, go back and enter the code again – there is nothing to pay for these tickets.

The offer ends at 11.59pm on Mon 30 Aug, or when all 7,500 pairs of tickets have scone – so go quick as you don't want to be left in tiers.

    When will the tickets arrive?

Your tickets will be emailed to you up to five days after booking and you can print them out and show them at the door on the day, or show them on your phone.

How much are they normally? Adult tickets usually cost £15 each plus a £1.75 transaction fee online or £19 on the door, so you can save a decent amount of dough with this freebie.
