'Free' sports sessions for ages 5-16 including football & swimming

When you buy £2-£5 promo packs of Capri-Sun juice

Look out for promotional packs of Capri-Sun juice (normally £1.95 to £5, though sometimes on offer) at most major supermarkets to get 'free' kids' sports sessions including football, netball, badminton, swimming, taekwondo, and more at over 1,500 venues. To claim, you'll need to scan the on-pack QR code or visit the Capri-Sun Sports Session site by 11.59pm on Saturday 31 August.

Capri-Sun has partnered with the National Sports Network for this freebie to help kids aged 5-16 get active this summer. There are over 25 activities to choose from and Capri-Sun says the sessions vary depending on your chosen activity, but most will last approximately one hour. Before you decide to buy a pack, you can see all venues sorted by sport.

What do I need to buy?

Purchase any of the following promotional items from a participating supermarket (all the major ones including Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsbury's):

  • Capri-Sun Orange 200ml – 4, 8, or 15 pack. Normally £1.95 - £5

  • Capri-Sun Orange Zero 200ml – 4, 8, or 15 pack. Normally £1.95 - £5

  • Capri-Sun Tropical 200ml – 4 or 8 pack. Normally £1.95 - £3

  • Capri-Sun Blackcurrant & Apple 200ml – 8 pack, normally £3

  • Capri-Sun Blackcurrant & Apple Zero 200ml – 8 pack, normally £3

When we checked on Tuesday 9 July, the cheapest option to buy was Capri-Sun Orange 4x200ml pack on offer for £1.49 at Aldi or £1.65 at Morrisons.

How do I claim a 'free' sports session?

Once you've purchased your Capri-Sun pack, either scan the QR code found on the front of the pack or box, or alternatively go to Capri-Sun Sports Session. You'll be asked to sign in or register in order to claim.

In some cases you may need to provide a date of purchase and the retailer you purchased from, so it's best to keep hold of your receipt.

Here are key dates to be aware of...

  • Register your promotional pack by 11.59pm on Saturday 31 August to claim a session.

  • Choose the sport you want your child to have a session in by 11.59pm on Monday 30 September to receive a voucher via email.

  • Redeem your voucher and partake in a sports session by Monday 16 December – though it's best to book a session far earlier in case this is popular as it's first-come, first-served.

Only one session can be claimed per pack. You can claim a maximum of one session per week, and each child will be able to use a voucher at a specific venue once. If you want to book two different children into the same activity, it's possible to 'bank' claims on two different weeks but then select the same activity for each child.

There's a little-known piece of legislation that turns any credit card into a financial self-defence superhero. 'Section 75' of the Consumer Credit Act means your plastic must protect anything you buy for more than £100 for free, so if there's a problem or the company goes bust, you can still get your money back.
And although Section 75 doesn't apply to debit cards, there is something else to fall back on if you've paid using a debit card, or used a credit card for a purchase under £100. Known as Chargeback, this is part of banks' and card companies' internal rules and not a legal requirement. Read full details of Section 75 or Chargeback, plus how to claim, in our guides.
What the * means above
If a link has an * by it, that means it is an affiliated link and therefore it helps MoneySavingExpert stay free to use, as it is tracked to us. If you go through it, it can sometimes result in a payment or benefit to the site. It's worth noting this means the third party used may be named on any credit agreements.
You shouldn’t notice any difference and the link will never negatively impact the product. Plus the editorial line (the things we write) is NEVER impacted by these links. We aim to look at all available products. If it isn't possible to get an affiliate link for the top deal, it is still included in exactly the same way, just with a non-paying link.
