If you're collecting GCSE results and purchase an adult main meal

If you're picking up your GCSE results this week, you can celebrate with 'free' food at French restaurant Cote Brasserie (find your nearest).

For those collecting results specifically for a French GCSE result, you can get either a free Steak Frites (a steak and fries, usually about £18) or a vegan burger (normally about £16). Bon appétit!

And if 'parlez Anglais' is more your thing, in other words, if you're celebrating any other GCSE results, you can get a free dessert instead (normally from £5.75).

In both cases, you'll need to show your 2025 results when dining in on Thursday 21 August, and order one other adult main meal to claim the freebie.

You can't use this alongside any other offer or promotion.

There's a little-known piece of legislation that turns any credit card into a financial self-defence superhero. 'Section 75' of the Consumer Credit Act means your plastic must protect anything you buy for more than £100 for free, so if there's a problem or the company goes bust, you can still get your money back.
And although Section 75 doesn't apply to debit cards, there is something else to fall back on if you've paid using a debit card, or used a credit card for a purchase under £100.
