If you go online to Dobbies Garden Centre (find your nearest store), you can book your child a place on one of its free workshops for 4-10-year-olds.
These include Little Seedlings, which run on the first Sunday of every month, at its stores across the UK (excluding a few locations). The next monthly event (the November workshop) runs on Sunday 3 November which can be booked online via this link.
Little Seedlings workshops get children planting and learning about nature and wildlife. Each workshop is on a different topic and lasts around 45-60 minutes. Children will be given a welcome pack containing stickers and a folder to store the activities each month. There’s also an attendance card and each child will receive a certificate after their third, sixth and twelfth workshops.
There's also Little Seedlings Holiday Club where your little ones will learn all about fairy tales and fairy gardens, and how we can bring a little bit of magic into our own gardens. Just select the location you'd like to attend and fill in the booking form.
It told us parents will need to stay with their children during the workshops.

If you head to your local Dobbies Garden Centre restaurant (find your nearest store), kids can eat for free when an adult main meal is purchased (£8.95-£11.75). There's no code needed, this is automatically applied to your bill.
This deal is available daily from restaurant opening time, but this may vary depending on location. There is currently no end date for this offer but we’ll update you here if that changes.
Kids can choose from the children's breakfast and lunch menu, which includes hot food, as well as the pick & mix box – both are served with a drink. Kids' meals usually cost £5.20. There's no limit to how many free meals can be claimed either, so for every adult main meal purchased, one free kids' lunch main or box is redeemable.
This offer is not available in any of the 'Little Dobbies' stores, and the following Dobbies’ stores: Andover, Lelant, Marple, Reading, York and Anchorwood.

Dobbies FREE cake
For Priority customers
ExpiredIf you’re an O2 or Virgin Media customer, you can get a totally free cake at Dobbies Garden Centre cafés (find your nearest store), via the Priority app. This is available seven days a week during café open hours from café opening time until Tuesday 20 December, while stocks last. There's no minimum spend required, this is a total freebie.
This offer is available at 67 Dobbies Garden Centres nationwide. It told us you should check participating locations before visiting. Dobbies told us cake would usually cost between £2.60-£3.75.
How to get it
Both Virgin Media broadband and O2 customers can use the Priority app to access perks and rewards. If you haven't got the app already, you can download it for iPhone and Android, and sign up for free. Virgin Media customers can register using the email address linked to their Virgin Media account, while O2 customers can register using their mobile number.
Once you've logged into your account, you can access the Priority offers. The app will provide you with a unique code that you can then show in the café when ordering. You must display it live from the Priority app – screenshots won't be accepted.
The offer excludes: Christmas drizzle cake, cream scone, mince pie cheesecake, Bad Boy Biscoff doughnut, Homer doughnut, Red Velvet doughnut and We Be Jammin doughnut.
This offer is valid for one transaction and can only be used once. It cannot be used alongside any other offer or voucher, including Dobbies Club vouchers.

Dobbies £5 off £25 spend

ExpiredIf you buy any of the following newspapers on Sunday 7 August – Daily Star Sunday (£1.30), Sunday Mail (£1.90), Sunday Express (£2.10) or Sunday Mirror (£2.10) – you will find a voucher for £5 off a £25 spend in store at Dobbies Garden Centre (find your nearest). As you’ll need to spend £1.30-£2.10 to get the £5 voucher, this deal works best if you were going to buy one of those newspapers anyway.
This voucher is only available in printed editions of the newspapers and can be redeemed from Sunday 7 August until stores close on Friday 19 August. Each voucher can only be used once, and is valid in-store only at all Dobbies and Little Dobbies across the UK.
Dobbies Garden Centre told us the voucher can't be used as a spend in the foodhall, or for gift cards, gift food, alcohol, Club Plus membership, services, Calor gas and purchases from concession partners. It also can't be used alongside on sale items or any other offer or voucher, including Club Plus membership events or team member discount.

There's a little-known piece of legislation that turns any credit card into a financial self-defence superhero. 'Section 75' of the Consumer Credit Act means your plastic must protect anything you buy for more than £100 for free, so if there's a problem or the company goes bust, you can still get your money back.
And although Section 75 doesn't apply to debit cards, there is something else to fall back on if you've paid using a debit card, or used a credit card for a purchase under £100.
