1 Current Deal

15,000 available

For Excel London, 2 to 5 May. Normally £12 to £14

If you're planning a home project and want some advice, or you're simply looking for some inspiration, this Grand Designs Live link will score you totally free tickets to the event (usually £12 to £14 each, plus £1.70 booking fee – waived for this deal). The show runs from Friday 2 May until Monday 5 May at Excel London.

The tickets should already be discounted when you go via the link, but if not, you'll just need to enter the code MSE on that first page. There are 15,000 free tickets available – the deal will end when all tickets have been claimed.

You can get up to two free adult tickets, and children aged 15 or under can go free too (child tickets don't count towards the free tickets allocation). You'll need to show your tickets on arrival, either on your phone or printed out.

These are totally free tickets. If at any point you're asked to add card details, go back and insert the code again. Grand Designs Live told us that tickets can take up to a few hours to arrive in your inbox.

About Grand Designs Live

The event is based on the Channel 4 TV series, and features 'design guru' Kevin McCloud. It also includes industry experts and exhibitors across five hubs: Home and Garden, Build and Renovation, Sustainability, Kitchens and Bathrooms, and Architecture.

Grand Designs Live has told us that this year, there are more experts, stages and advice centres, so you can get targeted guidance for your specific project.

For fans of the show, you can also meet the Grand Designers responsible for the transformations you see on TV.

Free protection for all shopping!

There's a little-known piece of legislation that turns any credit card into a financial self-defence superhero. 'Section 75' of the Consumer Credit Act means your plastic must protect anything you buy for more than £100 for free, so if there's a problem or the company goes bust, you can still get your money back.
And although Section 75 doesn't apply to debit cards, there is something else to fall back on if you've paid using a debit card, or used a credit card for a purchase under £100. Known as Chargeback, this is part of banks' and card companies' internal rules and not a legal requirement. Read full details of Section 75 or Chargeback, plus how to claim, in our guides.
What the * means above
If a link has an * by it, that means it is an affiliated link and therefore it helps MoneySavingExpert stay free to use, as it is tracked to us. If you go through it, it can sometimes result in a payment or benefit to the site. It's worth noting this means the third party used may be named on any credit agreements.
You shouldn’t notice any difference and the link will never negatively impact the product. Plus the editorial line (the things we write) is NEVER impacted by these links. We aim to look at all available products. If it isn't possible to get an affiliate link for the top deal, it is still included in exactly the same way, just with a non-paying link.
