If you click a link with an * to go through to a provider, we may get paid. This usually only happens if you get a product from it. This is what funds our team of journalists, and keeps us free to use. Yet there are two crucial things you need to know about this.
- This never impacts our editorial recommendations – if it's in, it's in there because we independently rate it best.
- You'll always get as good a deal (or better) than if you went direct.

Hotels.com 10% off codes
Hotel bookings only, incl rooms on sale
ExpiredIf you're looking for a hotel we’ve got a suite code to get you 10% off your stay.
Hotels.com 10% off
Enter the MSE Blagged code MSEUK14 at the checkout online at Hotels.com* by 11.59pm on Sun 30 Nov and you'll get 10% off hotel bookings for stays till 31 January 2015, including hotels on sale, such as those in the save up to 40% winter sale*.
It works on 250,000+ hotels, though many big chains are excluded, such as Travelodge, Hilton and Holiday Inn - see a full list of excluded hotels.
The discount excludes taxes, fees and additional costs. When we looked we found these costs in some countries are about 10%-20% of the total price. There's no minimum spend. You can only get the discount on one room in one hotel per transaction, but you can use the code for up to five transactions.
How to use the codes most effectively
Step 1. Check the price
If you know which hotel you want to stay at, go to Hotels.com* and check the price. Also ensure your hotel's not on the list of excluded chains. If you don't have a hotel in mind, it's worth browsing TripAdvisor*.
Step 2. Do a quick comparison
Once you've found the price for your hotel, do a quick comparison on Trivago*. Provided the room isn't more than 10% cheaper elsewhere, you can save using the code.
Read the full Cheap Hotels guide for lots of price-cutting techniques.
Step 3. If using a code works out best...
To get the discount, enter the code at the checkout of Hotels.com. The code is only valid on hotels where you pay upfront in full.
It will only work when there’s just hotel bookings in your basket (so you can't add flights, car rental, hotel+flight or a holiday package etc).
Important: Usually with these types of websites, once booked, your stay may be non-refundable so make sure you check. You may have to pay a city tax on arrival in some countries.
