What are my delivery options?

Standard delivery is £6 for most items, although Interflora's delivery system depends on what you're ordering and where you want your bouquet to go to. Some items come with free courier delivery*, others will cost £6-£11. You'll be told delivery options when you click through to the product. Do bear in mind that the code won't work for the delivery cost.

Ordering Valentine's flowers from Interflora isn't the cheapest, but if you're going to anyway, use a discount code to get some money off. Enter the code GET10 at the Interflora* checkout to get 10% off any bouquet.

Interflora says there's no set end date for the offer but it will be valid until at least the end of February. The code can't be used with any other offers, including cashback, and can only be used once per person.

Delivery's £6 for a nominated day, though choosing a time costs more. You can collect your flowers for free at an Interflora florist.

In past years, some big firms' Valentine's Day deliveries have gone wrong, so always consider that risk before buying.

There's a little-known piece of legislation that turns any credit card into a financial self-defence superhero. 'Section 75' of the Consumer Credit Act means your plastic must protect anything you buy for more than £100 for free, so if there's a problem or the company goes bust, you can still get your money back.

And although Section 75 doesn't apply to debit cards, there is something else to fall back on if you've paid using a debit card, or used a credit card for a purchase under £100.
