ALL GONE: £1.99 kids' baking kit – choc tart or rocky road

Norm £13ish. Subscription but can be cancelled any time

    Expired

Update 8.09am Wed 20 Jan: This deal has been really popular and all 1,500 boxes have now been claimed.

If you go online to kids' organic cooking subscription service Little Cooks Co*, you can get a kids' baking kit for £1.99 (norm £13ish) when you enter the MSE Blagged code MSE199 at checkout. The first 500-600 boxes redeemed will be chocolate tart and the rest rocky road.

Important: This is a subscription that will automatically roll on each month at full price, but you can cancel it at any time by logging into your account and visiting 'Subscriptions', or by contacting support@littlecooksco.co.uk.

When you click through, you'll be asked to choose a plan. Go for the one-month plan and remember to cancel if you only want the initial £1.99 box. It's available to both new and returning customers (though you can’t use the code on current active subscriptions). Delivery's free by second class post – orders could take up to a week to arrive during the pandemic.

The offer ends at 11.59pm on Tue 26 Jan or once all 1,500 boxes have been claimed – whichever's sooner.

    What is Little Cooks Co?

Available as a monthly subscription, Little Cooks Co is an organic cooking kit for kids that arrives through the post. If you want to continue with the subscription, you'll receive a new bake every month. Who knows what you'll get each month, but it will be baking related.

Only the first box will be £1.99 with this deal – subsequent boxes will be £12.99 per month if you're on the one-month plan, and between £8.33 and £12 per month on the other plans.

    What's in the box:

    • All the dry ingredients needed to make a healthy sweet bake that serves up to 12
    • Recipe cards
    • A record book (first box only) and a sticker to keep track of every bake
    • Extra activities to keep the kids engaged

The recipe might call for some fresh ingredients which you'll need to buy yourself, such as milk, eggs or honey.

    What about allergies?

Little Cooks Co says all its ingredients are free of dairy, meat, wheat and gluten, and that there are never any processed flours or refined sugars.

Little Cooks Co will email you before sending each kit, with a list of ingredients and allergen details. If the box doesn't suit you and your child's needs, you can skip that box by logging into your account (or cancel completely if preferred).

Be aware that kits are packed in an environment where nuts and gluten products are handled, so always err on the side of caution.

For more ways to save on baking ingredients, have a gander at our supermarket coupons.

    • When we checked on Wed 13 Jan, Little Cooks Co had an 'Excellent' TrustPilot score of 4.3 out of 5.

The code isn't valid on shop items.

If you're part way through a subscription plan and would like to cancel, you'll be refunded based on the remaining months' value.

Most bakes serve about 12 people, but this can vary.
