  • TWO pairs of Marc Jacobs, Guess or MaxMara prescription specs for £40

TWO pairs of Marc Jacobs, Guess or MaxMara prescription specs for £40

Via MSE Blagged code. Normally £150

    Expired

If you go to online glasses retailer Low Cost Glasses*, you can get two pairs of Marc Jacobs, Guess or MaxMara specs for £40 delivered, when you enter the MSE Blagged code MSELCGLASSESMGM at the checkout, until 11.59pm on Wed 1 Dec. Delivery's free on orders over £30, so there'll be no delivery charge to pay.

When you get to the checkout page, you can find the box to enter the code towards the top of the page under the heading, 'Have a coupon? Enter your code here'. Low Cost Glasses tells us the RRP of the frames is £150, but it sells them for £75 normally – so with the code you're saving £110.

The code only works on Marc Jacobs, Guess and MaxMara glasses, but you are able to mix and match between them – you don't have to get two of the same. The code won't work alongside any other promotions.

Need-to-knows for getting the cheapest price

    • Choose the 'bronze' lens option to get the most basic, free lenses.
    • Select 'none' for the type of lens coatings to avoid additional costs.
    • Thinner or UV protection lenses will cost £15-£64 extra.

Important. Check you're using the cheapest code at the checkout as Low Cost Glasses often has other promotions running.

It can be a little tricky to compare prices for each frames, as they're often end-of-line and aren't always sold elsewhere – but I reckon £40 all-in for two pairs of branded prescription specs (norm £150) is pretty decent.

However, even with the code, Low Cost Glasses might not always be cheapest, so do your own price comparison before buying – you never know what short-lived deals could be out there, so it's always worth double checking you're getting the best price at the time. As ever, with branded items in particular, be sure to check reviews if it's a retailer you've not heard of.

We've checked a few online retailers and Calvin Klein glasses can range in price from £60, up to over £185 for newer styles, so this is a very good saving. Low Cost Glasses tells us the RRP is £160 – though we've not been able to find the exact frames sold elsewhere.

When you get to the checkout page, you can find the box to enter the code towards the top of the page under the heading, 'Have a coupon? Enter your code here'.

The code only works on Calvin Klein glasses.
