Dine-in and collection

Maximum £4 discount on orders up to £20 when dining in or walk-in collections only

If you work for the NHS, police, fire or ambulance service you can get 20% off food and drink orders up to £20 at Nando's (find your nearest).

If you're dining in, you'll just need to show a valid photocard ID when you order and you can use the discount once per day. If you're with a group and want to give others the discount too, you'll need to put everyone's meals on the same order, but remember the 20% off only works up to £20 – any orders over £20 won't get the maximum £4 discount.

If you don't fancy dining in, you can get the 20% off if you order for collection, too – Peri nice! NHS staff can do this online when you register at Nando's and then apply the discount when you order. You'll need to verify your NHS email address every six months. Those working for the emergency services can only get the offer on walk-in collections, and can't currently order online for collection

'Free' quarter chicken or starter on exam results days

Show results and when spending £7 or more

If you're picking up your exam results this summer in England, Wales or Ireland, you can celebrate at Nando's with a 'free' quarter chicken or starter (the cheapest starter costs £3.75, while a quarter chicken is £5.50).

To get the deal, simply take your results (email or paper version) to any Nando's restaurant on the day they’re released (see below) and you'll get the freebie when you spend at least £7 on other food and drinks. This will only work if you're ordering in person (for eat-in or walk-in collect) – you can't get the deal if you're ordering online.

  • A-Level results – England, Wales and Northern Ireland – Thursday 15 August

  • GCSE results – England, Wales and Northern Ireland – Thursday 22 August

  • Leaving Cert - Republic of Ireland – Friday 23 August

You can only claim your freebie on results day and the person collecting the results has to be the one claiming. If there's a group of you collecting exam results, you’ll each need to spend £7 or more on separate bills to all get the freebie. This offer cannot be used alongside any other discount.

This deal excludes 'Dare to Share' menu options.

If you go into any Nando's restaurant (there's 480, find your nearesttoday only (Monday 17 June) between 3.30pm-4.30pm, you can get a bottle of Peri Peri Saka sauce totally for free.

Nando's told us this is a total freebie, with no spend required. It told us there are roughly a couple of thousand available across all restaurants. To claim you'll simply need to ask for your free bottle. We reckon this'll be a popular deal so go quickly to avoid disappointment as it's first come, first served.

The Peri Peri Saka sauce isn't available to buy in shops, but a similar 500g bottle of medium Nando's sauce would normally cost £3.90 in Tesco, Sainsbury's and Ocado.

There's a little-known piece of legislation that turns any credit card into a financial self-defence superhero. 'Section 75' of the Consumer Credit Act means your plastic must protect anything you buy for more than £100 for free, so if there's a problem or the company goes bust, you can still get your money back.
And although Section 75 doesn't apply to debit cards, there is something else to fall back on if you've paid using a debit card, or used a credit card for a purchase under £100. Known as Chargeback, this is part of banks' and card companies' internal rules and not a legal requirement. Read full details of Section 75 or Chargeback, plus how to claim, in our guides.
What the * means above
If a link has an * by it, that means it is an affiliated link and therefore it helps MoneySavingExpert stay free to use, as it is tracked to us. If you go through it, it can sometimes result in a payment or benefit to the site. It's worth noting this means the third party used may be named on any credit agreements.
You shouldn’t notice any difference and the link will never negatively impact the product. Plus the editorial line (the things we write) is NEVER impacted by these links. We aim to look at all available products. If it isn't possible to get an affiliate link for the top deal, it is still included in exactly the same way, just with a non-paying link.
