Now TV logoSky Sports full package 150 for 9mths and you don't need a Sky box (equiv 16.67/mth)*Via Now TV. For new and existing customers

Expired

If you want Sky Sports and are willing to stream it, Now TV offers a cheap alternative to Sky TV. Until 11.59pm on Sun 25 March, new and existing Now TV customers can sign up to nine months of its Sky Sports Pass for £150. That's less than half the normal price of this Now TV package (£306), and roughly 40% cheaper than the standard price for the Sky Sports pack on Sky TV.

Important: Now TV has branded this as a Formula 1 season pass, however it's the same thing - and gives you full access to all 10 Sky Sports channels. You will see this before you sign up.

How to get it:

1. Go via Now TV*, until 11.59pm on Sun 25 March. Once on the offer page, choose to sign up for a new Now TV account or sign in to your existing account.

2. Once purchased, the pass will be applied to your account automatically, and will activate immediately.

IMPORTANT: Unless you cancel before the nine months is up, you’ll be charged £33.99/mth after the pass expires as it will automatically renew. It’s easy to cancel – just go to the ‘My Passes’ section of your account, and click the cancel button on the pass. You can watch Now TV for the remainder of the nine months you signed up for even after you’ve cancelled, but won’t be able to watch beyond the nine months.

While existing Now TV customers can get this deal, you won't be able to if you already have a Sky Sports Pass stored in your account.

How good is this deal?

Now TV normally charges £306 for its nine-month pass, so this is over 50% off - it works out at the equivalent of £16.67/mth. However you’ll need to stump up the full £150 upfront so you’ll need that cash available.

If you currently have the Sky Sports TV package, aren't locked into a long contract and are willing to switch to streaming, this could be a good way to slash what you pay each month. The standard price of the full Sky Sports add-on if you're not on a promo deal is £27.50/mth - so if you switch to Now TV you could save almost 40%.

If your Sky Sports TV package is on a 31-day rolling contract or you're beyond your minimum term contract you can switch to Now TV by giving a month's notice. Be aware if you do though you'll lose the Sky Q features for Sport including recording and watching in HD.

What is Now TV?

Now TV is a streaming service owned by Sky that gives you access to Sky channels on PCs, laptops, tablets, smartphones and some 'smart' TVs, or via streaming devices such as Chromecasts and Now TV (and some other) set-top boxes.

You'll get access to all ten Sky Sports channels, including Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event. So you'll get to see the rest of the Premier League season, every F1 Grand Prix and the New Zealand v England ODI and Test Series - though bear in mind if you're mainly interested in the football a decent chunk of the nine months you get will be taken up by the summer break.

Now TV doesn't offer full HD, but depending on your broadband connection speed you could get 720p definition - which is somewhere between standard definition and full HD.

Although you can buy a Now TV stick or box, you don't necessarily need one to watch on a TV, as if you've an HD TV you can connect to a laptop via HDMI, Chromecast or Apple TV (if you've an Apple device that's compatible). See the full list of supported devices.

Now TV logo2mths' Now TV for the price of one. Sky Cinema, Entertainment and Kids*Newbies only. Stream Sky TV without having Sky

Expired

Until 11.59pm on Sun 31 Dec, if you're new to Now TV*  (Sky's subscription streaming service) you can choose two-months' Cinema, Entertainment, Kids or the Cinema and Entertainment pass for the price of one month. To be eligible you can't ever have had a Now TV account with your email address and bank details before. However, if you use a new email address and different bank details, you'll count as a new customer.

IMPORTANT: Once the promo ends, you're automatically charged for a third month at the regular price of the pass you've chosen - but you can cancel at any point during the promo and still access it till the two months are up.

These are the passes included in this Now TV deal:

  • A two-month Cinema pass for £9.99 (usually £19.98) gets you 1,000+ films - currently including Star Wars: Rogue One & Fantastic Beasts.
  • A two-month Entertainment pass for £7.99 (usually £15.98) gets you 11 live channels not available on Freeview, including Sky Atlantic and Comedy Central, plus access to 250+ box sets, such as The Walking Dead and Ray Donovan.
  • Combine both of the above with a two-month Cinema and Entertainment pass for £16.98 (usually £35.96)
  • A two-month Kids pass for £2.99 (usually £5.98) gets you 6 live channels not on Freeview including Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network plus access to thousands of on-demand epidsodes.

How can I watch? You can watch it on a computer, smartphone or tablet. And you can hook it up to a TV via a console, Now TV streaming box, set-top box (eg, YouView), HDMI cable, stick (eg, Chromecast) or airplay box (eg, Apple TV). You can register four devices per subscription.

Min broadband speed required? 2.5Mbps as a bare minimum, according to Now TV. But a faster connection may be needed for undisturbed HD viewing, especially if there are lots of you in one home using the internet.

Now TV logo20 Now TV box, incl 4mths' free Sky Cinema*Norm 40ish. Stream Sky movies on your telly without Sky TV

Expired

Now TV box dealsIf the cold's got you curled up on the sofa and you'd love to watch Sky films but don't want a 12-month Sky contract, you can get a Now TV box plus four months' Sky Cinema for £19.99 at Argos* online and in stores, while stock lasts.

This same bundle costs £40ish elsewhere, and the boxes often cost £15 on their own, so at £20 we think this is a good deal - especially for watching films over the Christmas period.

IMPORTANT: After four months, you'll automatically be charged £9.99 a month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time - just sign in to your Now TV account and look for 'Cancel Pass'.

What do you get for £20?

1. Now TV box, which connects to your TV via HDMI and your WiFi. The box itself doesn't do much or give you access to TV channels - it's just a way to stream whatever you subscribe to on Now TV. You can actually use Now TV without a box if you've a smart TV, or do it via a PC/tablet.

2. Four-month Sky Cinema Pass, which gets you access to 1,000+ films on demand. You'll need to activate the pass by creating a Now TV account using the code supplied with your box.

Argos told us this is a clearance offer with no specific end date, though it warned us stock is "low" (it won't tell us exactly how many it has), so go quick if you've decided you want it.

Now TV logoNow TV 1 month's Sky Sports Month Pass 20 (norm 34)*Newbies only. 30-day access to streaming service

Expired

New Now TV customers can get a Sky Sports Month Pass for £20 (norm £33.99), which gives 30-day access to the sports streaming service, meaning you can watch Chelsea v Arsenal, Man Utd V Everton, the Singapore Grand Prix or the England v West Indies ODI Series.

It'll only work for new users of Now TV, which is a streaming service owned by Sky that you can access on PCs, laptops, tablets, smartphones and some 'smart' TVs, or via streaming devices such as Chromecasts and Now TV (and some other) set-top boxes. It's one pass per person.

How to get it

1. To get the pass, go via this special Now TV link*until 11.59pm on Mon 11 Sept. Once on the offer page, sign up for a new Now TV account.

2. The pass will be applied to your account automatically, and will activate immediately. It’ll expire after 30 days.

IMPORTANT: You’ll be charged £20 for the pass when you sign up. Then, unless you cancel before the month is up, you’ll be charged £33.99/mth as the pass will automatically renew. It’s easy to cancel – just go to the ‘My Passes’ section of your account, and click the cancel button on the pass. You can watch any remaining days on the month pass, even after you’ve cancelled, but won’t be able to watch beyond the month.

You're also only allowed to have one Sky Sports pass in your account at any one time, so you won’t be able to buy any other Sports passes until you’ve used this one.

How good is this deal?

It’s 40% off the normal monthly price, so if you’re a sports fan but find the usual prices too steep, it’s worth doing as it gives you access to all ten Sky Sports channels for the next month.

Although you can buy a Now TV box, you don't necessarily need one to watch on a TV, as if you've an HD TV you can connect to a laptop via HDMI, Chromecast or Apple TV (if you've an Apple device that's compatible). See the full list of supported devices.

Now TV logoFree 7 Now TV 1-day Sky Sports pass*Claim this today only for 24 hours access free in next year

Expired

You can get a free Now TV Sky Sports Day Pass (norm £6.99), which gives 24-hour access to the sports streaming service on any day in the next 12 months, which you can use straight away or wait for a big event – but you have to claim it on Thursday. Also note, it's one pass per person.

It'll work for both new and existing users of Now TV – a streaming service owned by Sky that you can access on PCs, laptops, tablets, smartphones and some 'smart' TVs, or via streaming devices like Chromecasts and Now TV (and some other) set-top boxes. Examples of what you could watch include this weekend’s Open golf, the England and South Africa test cricket series, or Premier League footy from August.

How to get it

1. To get the pass, go via this special Now TV link*until 23.59 on Thu 20 Jul. Once on the offer page, sign up or sign into your Now TV account if you have one.

2. The pass will be applied to your account automatically, but you'll be given the choice to either activate it immediately (and it'll expire after 24 hours from that point) or save it for a later date when you can log back in and trigger it. Make sure you DO NOT click "Start Watching" until you're ready to start your 24 hour free period.

IMPORTANT: Creating a Now TV account involves entering your card details online. Now TV says you'll only be charged if you decide to add a paid subscription. You're also only allowed to have one Sky Sports pass in your account at any one time.

How good is this deal?

If you're a sports fan, it's worth claiming the freebie as it gives you access to all ten Sky Sports channels for one day. Basically, it can save you paying £6.99 the next time there's an event you want to stream live with Now TV. But of course it’s only a one-day pass so you’ll have to pick carefully which day you want to watch.

Although you can buy a Now TV box, you don't necessarily need one to watch on a TV, as if you've an HD TV you can connect to a laptop via HDMI, Chromecast or Apple TV (if you've an Apple device that's compatible). See the full list of supported devices.
