The Telltale Series & The Enemy Within. Normally £20+

The Telltale Batman Shadows Edition can be downloaded completely free for PC via the Epic Games Store. You'll need to claim it by 4pm on Thursday 21 May, then it’s yours to keep forever, even after the offer ends.

This edition bundles together two games, Batman: The Telltale Series and Batman: The Enemy Within, both of which span five episodes each. This isn't a typical Batman action game in the style of the Arkham series, but more of an adventure or point-and-click game with a focus on mature storytelling, where you make impactful choices (and affect who lives and who dies!).

The bundle also comes with the 'Shadows Modes' for both games, which recolours and retextures them in stylish black-and-white (with splashes of colour).

How to get Telltale Batman for free

If you aren't already signed up to Epic Games, you’ll need to create a free account.
Download the Epic Games Launcher on your PC. You'll need this to run the game.
Go to the Telltale Batman Shadows Edition page on the Epic Games Store website or in the launcher on your PC. Visit the link to go straight to the page, or you can scroll down to the 'Free Games' section.
Once on the Telltale Batman Shadows Edition page, select 'Get', and it's yours to keep forever.

Citizen Sleeper, Risk of Rain Returns, Superhot, and more

Until 2am on Thu 4 Jun, you can get eight critically acclaimed indie games for £8.80 at Humble Bundle.

It’s a bit of an all-star indie line-up, released to celebrate Humble Bundle’s 15th anniversary, with eight critically acclaimed games (averaging a 92% 'Positive' rating on Steam) from across the years.

Bought individually at full price, the games would cost £143.60, so you’re saving about 94% against RRP. We also checked the lowest prices each game dropped to over the past year, and it came to around £33, so the bundle still stacks up well against the best prices you're likely to get if you wait around and buy them individually.

Risk of Rain Returns

For £8.80, you get the following games:

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night – A flamboyant spiritual successor to Castlevania, from former Symphony of the Night producer Koji Igarashi.
Risk of Rain Returns – A remastered version of the 2D roguelite platformer, with overhauled multiplayer and many new features.
Citizen Sleeper – A narrative sci-fi RPG about surviving on a space station as an escaped worker with a failing robotic body.
Superhot – A super-stylish first-person shooter where time only moves when you do, turning every shootout into a puzzle.
The Witness – A first-person puzzle game set on a mysterious island. Not for the feint of brained.
Celeste – A precision platformer about climbing a mountain, known its dexterity-demanding levels and a surprisingly heartfelt story.
Slime Rancher – A colourful farming game where you collect, feed and breed bouncy alien slimes.
Starbound – A 2D space sandbox where you explore procedurally generated planets, gather resources, build bases and craft gear.

In October 2025, Microsoft made the biggest pricing shake-up to its popular Game Pass subscription since the service launched. The good news for PC players is that it remains the best-value of the different Game Pass subscription tiers and a great way to play PC games on the cheap.

Prices are increasing quite fast on these prepaid codes, as the codes based on the old, cheaper Game Pass pricing have mostly run out. So if you're a committed Game Pass user, then it might be worth buying a stack of them at this price while it lasts.

Hogwarts Legacy, the open-world Harry Potter game (minus Harry Potter himself), can be downloaded completely free on PC via the Epic Games Store. You'll need to claim it by 4pm on Sunday 3 May, then it’s yours to keep forever, even after the offer ends.

This is a modern blockbuster game with a Recommended Retail Price of £50, though you can often find it for about £20.

Hogwarts Legacy is set in the late 19th century, and is set in the posh wizarding schools' hallowed halls and surrounding highlands. You wave a wand around, play Quidditch, and embark on a magical adventure that would leave Daniel Radcliffe steaming with envy. You also get to create your own Hogwarts student from scratch and — yes — pick which of Hogwarts' four houses to be in.

Amazon Prime members can currently claim Sid Meier’s Civilization VI to keep forever via Amazon Luna. Once you claim the game it’s yours to keep, even if you cancel your Prime subscription. You'll also need a free Epic Games Store account, as that's the platform through which you actually play the game.

You have until Monday 6 April to claim the space-age-to-stone-age empire-building game. That's potentially hundreds of hours of entertainment for the sweet, sweet price of £0.

What else is included?

Alongside Civilization VI, there are currently nearly 20 games available to claim for free on Amazon Luna – see all the free games (click the 'Claim Games' tab for those free to keep). Notable examples currently available are:

Technotopia – a dystopian city-builder (that's also a card game!) that focuses on managing growth, politics and public opinion
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands – a fantasy-themed shooter set in the Borderlands universe with RPG progression
