If you're a new customer to Rush hair salons* (40+ locations in England – find your nearest*), you can get 35% off a haircut (cut and finish) when you use the MSE Blagged code MSE35 until Saturday 31 May. Your appointment will need to be booked and have taken place by this date – though it's best to go quick as there are only 1,000 codes available.

You can book online by entering MSE35 at the checkout, or quote the code if booking over the phone.

It will only apply to a gents' cut and finish or a ladies' cut and finish service – these normally cost from £42 for gents and from £57 for ladies (though prices differ depending on location), but based on these prices, our code will make it from £27.30 and from £37.05 respectively.

Your local barbers or salon may be cheaper so it's worth checking prices, but if you want a cut from this popular chain, this is the cheapest way to get it.

There's a little-known piece of legislation that turns any credit card into a financial self-defence superhero. 'Section 75' of the Consumer Credit Act means your plastic must protect anything you buy for more than £100 for free, so if there's a problem or the company goes bust, you can still get your money back.
And although Section 75 doesn't apply to debit cards, there is something else to fall back on if you've paid using a debit card, or used a credit card for a purchase under £100.
