  If you go into a participating Tempur stockist (find your nearest), including most branches of Dreams, Bensons for Beds, John Lewis and Furniture Village, and take part in its 'Tempur Comfort Trial' while in store, you can get a free Tempur Comfort travel pillow (norm £50), until 11.59pm on Thu 21 Mar. 
  

  What do you get?

  The free pillow you get is a 26cm x 40cm 'memory foam' pillow from the posh bedding brand Tempur. Here's a picture of what you'll get:

  

  What is the 'Tempur Comfort Trial'?
  

  The 'Tempur Comfort Trial' (previously called 'Tempur Challenge') is a bit like market research, where Tempur wants you to fill in a survey after trying a few of its posh mattresses at one of the participating stores. Not all of the stores in the list will be included - look for the image to the right that mentions free pillows.

  Once you’ve tried the mattresses, staff in store should provide you with a unique code – either to scan on your smartphone, if you have one, or to enter manually using this online form. You'll then need to fill in a five-minute survey in store and give some personal details (you can opt out of email marketing if you want to).

  It's best to complete the survey straight away in store (rather than doing it at home later on), as there's a limited number of free pillows available - so the offer will end early if they all go. Important: Once you've entered the code, you'll only have 15 minutes to complete the survey before it times out.

  Once you've completed the survey, you'll get a confirmation screen that'll tell you the date you need to revisit the store to pick up your free pillow. Tempur has told us the pillows should be ready for collection from Thu 18 Apr, though you’ll only have 21 days from this date to collect your freebie.

  It's told us you don't need to print your confirmation, and a screenshot on your phone will work fine, but that you do need to bring along a proof of ID and residency with you (either a utility bill or photocard driving licence). If you take the challenge at a John Lewis store, your pillow will be sent directly to your home for free. Tempur has told us these will be posted from Thu 18 Apr. 

  Did you take the ‘Tempur Challenge’?

  Tempur has done this before – in previous years it was branded the Tempur Challenge. Unfortunately, if you’ve taken part and claimed a free pillow previously, you won’t be allowed to participate again. It’s also one freebie per household.

  What is the 'Tempur Challenge'?

  The 'Tempur Challenge' is a bit like market research, where Tempur wants feedback on some of its mattresses. All you need to do is visit any of the participating stockists and try a few mattresses out by lying on them. Not all of the stores in the list will be included - look for the image to the right that mentions free pillows.

  You'll then be given a letter with a unique URL to complete a five-minute online survey and give some personal details (you can opt out of email marketing if you want to). It's best to complete the survey as soon as you can, as there's a limited number of free pillows available - so the offer could end early if they all go.

  Has it ironed out the problems from last year?

  When Tempur ran this giveaway last year, we had reports of some stores not knowing of the offer and some people having a long wait for their pillows. Things ran a lot more smoothly when this deal was on earlier this year and Tempur has assured us that all participating stores are aware of the deal, and that there’ll be no delays or long wait times in receiving the pillows.
