Check out Tennis For Free's website to see if there are free coaching sessions available in your area – you'll then just need to book your place online.
Tennis For Free says the sessions aren't professional coaching, but instead they're more focused on having fun. A session lasts for 1.5 hours – you'll spend the first hour with a coach/assistant and the final half hour in 'open play'. All equipment is free and included as part of the session.
There are around 40 venues throughout the UK that offer these free sessions. They mostly run during weekends. Some sessions are available to all ages, while others are limited to those aged 12 and over, but this depends on location.

Check Tennis For Free's website to see if there are free tennis courts available for use in your local area.
Tennis for Free works with local councils to provide free 'walk on and play' court access on as many parks as possible, so there's a good chance you'll be able to use a court year-round.
