If you're an Ovo Energy customer, you can get 2,500 FREE Tesco Clubcard points simply by linking your accounts. This is part of a new partnership between the brands for both new and existing Ovo customers.
The points can be turned into £25 worth of Tesco vouchers to be used in store, or they can be doubled in value and redeemed on days out, cinema tickets, Disney+ subscriptions, restaurant vouchers and more – see our Tesco Clubcard boosting guide.
This is a long-standing offer running until June 2025.
To be eligible for this offer, you must have both a Tesco Clubcard account and have an account with Ovo Energy on any fixed or standard variable tariff, have a smart meter and pay your Ovo bill by Direct Debit.
This offer is not currently available to Pay As You Go customers. See full eligibility criteria.
How to claim your free 2,500 Clubcard points
New customers can link their Tesco Clubcard account when they sign up as an Ovo customer through the Tesco Clubcard journey, and their 2,500 points will be credited within 60 days.
Existing customers need to log into their Ovo account, go to their profile, click ‘Our partners’, and select the Tesco Clubcard logo to connect their Tesco account. Click the 'Activate offer' button and the 2,500 points will be credited within 60 days.
The 2,500 Clubcard points can only be claimed once per household, and only one Tesco Clubcard can be linked to your Ovo account. If you switch supplier within the first 60 days of signing up to the deal then you will not be eligible for the Tesco Clubcard points.
Ovo Energy told us there is no personal data sharing, this is just a reward partnership.

If you have a Tesco Clubcard with enough points, you can swap £3 in Clubcard vouchers for a three month Disney+ subscription* until Wednesday 20 September. You'd normally have to exchange £8 in Clubcard vouchers to get three months' Disney+, so this is a decent saving.
For newbies not using this Clubcard deal, Disney+ currently costs £1.99 a month for three months, and then £4.99, £7.99 or £10.99 a month, depending on which plan you choose – see our Disney+ major shake-up from 1 November MSE News story for how its new plans compare.
When you swap your Clubcard vouchers, you'll get a code that's valid until 20 March 2024, so you could always save it to watch movies over the Christmas period.
If you're an existing Disney+ subscriber, you can cancel your current subscription (if annual, check it ends before 20 March), then use the code and you'll beat the November price hikes (for a short time, at least) – see 'More info' below for what to do.
Important: After the three months ends, you'll be automatically enrolled into the full-price 'Premium' plan at £10.99 a month, unless you cancel before the three months are up, so don't forget to do this if you don't want to keep it.
For more ways to make the most of your Clubcard points, see our Tesco Clubcard boosting guide.
