Available at all stores – go early

If you love Lego, here's an un-bear-lievable freebie...

Visit any The Entertainer toy store on Saturday 19 July only to get a free Lego Creator 'She Built That' Panda, which you can make and take home, while stock lasts.

No purchase is necessary, and the freebie is first come, first served – so once they're gone, they're gone. This is likely to be popular, so if you want to avoid panda-monium, it's best to get there earlier in the day (find your nearest store for opening times).

The Entertainer 'up to 50% off' sale*

Includes Hot Wheels, Barbie, Marvel, Disney & more

You can get up to 50% off toys and games online with toy retailer The Entertainer*, or in any of its stores (find your nearest*) until Monday 21 April.

The Entertainer told us there are over 1,600 items included in the sale, though when we checked online we could only see about 490, so it might be worth checking your local store as well. If shopping online, delivery's £3.99 or free if spending £39.99 or more.

As it's a sale, availability of some items is likely to be limited, so go quick if there's something you're after. Here are a few examples we found of decent discounts:

What does ‘up to 50% off' mean?

We've done some spot checks to try and establish what sort of discount you can really expect:

Minimum discount we spotted: 20%
Maximum discount we spotted: 75%
Typical discount based on 10 random items: 39%

The Entertainer may not always be the cheapest, so be sure to check prices at other retailers too.

Free protection for all shopping!

There's a little-known piece of legislation that turns any credit card into a financial self-defence superhero. 'Section 75' of the Consumer Credit Act means your plastic must protect anything you buy for more than £100 for free, so if there's a problem or the company goes bust, you can still get your money back.
And although Section 75 doesn't apply to debit cards, there is something else to fall back on if you've paid using a debit card, or used a credit card for a purchase under £100. Known as Chargeback, this is part of banks' and card companies' internal rules and not a legal requirement. Read full details of Section 75 or Chargeback, plus how to claim, in our guides.
What the * means above
If a link has an * by it, that means it is an affiliated link and therefore it helps MoneySavingExpert stay free to use, as it is tracked to us. If you go through it, it can sometimes result in a payment or benefit to the site. It's worth noting this means the third party used may be named on any credit agreements.
You shouldn’t notice any difference and the link will never negatively impact the product. Plus the editorial line (the things we write) is NEVER impacted by these links. We aim to look at all available products. If it isn't possible to get an affiliate link for the top deal, it is still included in exactly the same way, just with a non-paying link.
