If you click a link with an * to go through to a provider, we may get paid. This usually only happens if you get a product from it. This is what funds our team of journalists, and keeps us free to use. Yet there are two crucial things you need to know about this.
- This never impacts our editorial recommendations – if it's in, it's in there because we independently rate it best.
- You'll always get as good a deal (or better) than if you went direct.

Toolstation up to 30% off
Decent discounts on tech goods, could be discounted further via codes
ExpiredYou may not think of Toolstation as a stereotypical Black Friday brand, however we've seen some pretty decent deals in the run-up to the big day, along with a £10 off £60 code (unfortunately now finished) which made many tech items cheaper than elsewhere. It's also worth checking to see if you can get extra cashback if you intend to shop online, for example, we found Quidco* currently has 4% for Toolstation orders.
Examples of items with decent discounts we found on Monday 20 November include:
- Google Nest Doorbell (battery) – £129. SAME PRICE (1p cheaper) £128.99 at Screwfix. Next cheapest, £139.99 at Google
- Google Nest battery camera – £124. SAME PRICE at Screwfix. Next cheapest, £129.99 at Google or Argos.
- Google Nest outdoor camera & floodlight (wired) – £189. Next cheapest, £189.99 at Argos. £199.99 at Google.
- Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2 (hardwired) – £149.98. SAME PRICE (1p more expensive) at Amazon*.
- Google Nest Hub Max (Chalk) – £169. CHEAPER at Argos, £159. Also £169 at Google.
Important: Don’t allow yourself to be taken in by the hype around Black Friday and be sucked into buying something you don’t need or can’t afford. Always do your own price comparisons to ensure you are getting the best deal possible – don’t just take a retailer’s word for it.

Toolstation £10 off £60 in-store
Rare store-wide code
ExpiredIf you go in-store to a branch of Toolstation (find your nearest) before 4pm on Sunday 1 October, you can get £10 off a £60+ spend. To get the discount, simply mention 'AUTUMN 10' when you're checking out to claim your discount. The code is for in-store purchases only, it can't be used online.
Toolstation is similar to Wickes, and it's popular with MoneySavers who say they've found some of the same or similar items cheaper. What's more, the minimum spend for this offer also includes reduced and promotional products too, so you can make a decent saving with this in-store code.
The discount can't be used with a Trade Account, and Toolstation says the only item not included in the deal is this DeWalt Brushless Cordless Impact Driver. The offer is limited to one per person, per transaction.
Even with the discount, Toolstation may not be the cheapest for everything, so make sure you compare prices elsewhere before buying.
Don't have a Toolstation nearby? You could get £5 off a £30 spend at B&Q.
