From 16-17 Jun, dads can go free at Twycross Zoo with the purchase of any additional admission ticket (adult, child or concession, with prices starting at £14.20).

The offer must be redeemed on the gate on the day of your visit. Adult ticket prices normally start at £18.95, so you can make a big saving with this offer. See full T&Cs.

Twycross Zoo logoRedheads go FREE at Twycross Zoo this FridayVisitors with red/ginger hair get free entry all day (10am-7pm)

On Fri 19 Aug, both kids and grown-ups with red or ginger hair can go free at Twycross Zoo, in Warwickshire, as it's International Orangutan Day (their comparison, not ours!).

Just turn up on the day (the zoo will be open from 10am-7pm) and show off your hair colour at the gate to gain free entry. Any non-redheads going with you will need a ticket - on the gate it's £18.95 for adults, £13.95 for kids, including an optional 10% donation.Orangutans at Twycross Zoo

Interestingly, you don't need to be a natural redhead as those with dyed ginger hair (or strawberry blonde, auburn, copper, cherry red etc) will also qualify for free entry. And if everyone in your group has red hair, you can all enjoy a day at the zoo free of charge.

However, the rules state you can't just wear an orange/red wig (of course, if you normally wear a wig due to hair loss that's different).

Twycross says free entry will be granted at the ticket office's discretion.

MSE Anthony says:

While this is a fantastic freebie for animal lovers (those with red hair at least), Twycross Zoo's conservation work relies on the generosity of visitors - so consider donating if you can.
