Valentine's Day deals

Keep the costs low and the romance high

Romance is lovely, but over-commercialised pressure isn't, and there are plenty of free things you can do instead of buying gifts (such as using our free gift cheques). Yet if you are going to spend (there's really no need), we've rounded up the top Valentine's Day 2026 deals below, including £3.45 for 12 roses, £10 Champagne, meal deals from £10, and more.

Cheapest we've seen it this year

Every year during the festive season, we see the 'Battle of the Baileys', with many major supermarkets slashing the price of Baileys Original one-litre bottles (normally £22-ish).

Although we're only in October, retailers have already started cutting prices, with five major retailers reducing bottles to £10 or less:

  • Amazon* - £9.97 online, with no set end date

  • Morrisons - £9.97 in-store and online in England (£11.05 in Scotland & Wales) until Sunday 1 November

  • Asda - £10 in-store and online until Sunday 1 November

  • Tesco* - £10 in-store and online with a Clubcard until Sunday 1 November

  • Sainsbury's - £10 in-store and online in England (£11.05 in Scotland & Wales) with a Nectar card until Wednesday 2 December

We’ll update this page as soon as new Baileys offers crop up.

Will it get any cheaper?

At £9.97, this is the cheapest price we've seen for a 1L bottle of Baileys so far this year, and it's hit this sweet spot earlier than usual (last year, prices didn't drop this low until December).

If you want to stock up now, it's a great time to buy. We don't expect prices to drop much further, though it's possible. The absolute lowest price we've seen historically was £8.50 at Morrisons for More Card members, but that deal required a minimum spend of £45 on groceries.

Free protection for all shopping!

There's a little-known piece of legislation that turns any credit card into a financial self-defence superhero. 'Section 75' of the Consumer Credit Act means your plastic must protect anything you buy for more than £100 for free, so if there's a problem or the company goes bust, you can still get your money back.
And although Section 75 doesn't apply to debit cards, there is something else to fall back on if you've paid using a debit card, or used a credit card for a purchase under £100. Known as Chargeback, this is part of banks' and card companies' internal rules and not a legal requirement. Read full details of Section 75 or Chargeback, plus how to claim, in our guides.
What the * means above
If a link has an * by it, that means it is an affiliated link and therefore it helps MoneySavingExpert stay free to use, as it is tracked to us. If you go through it, it can sometimes result in a payment or benefit to the site. It's worth noting this means the third party used may be named on any credit agreements.
You shouldn’t notice any difference and the link will never negatively impact the product. Plus the editorial line (the things we write) is NEVER impacted by these links. We aim to look at all available products. If it isn't possible to get an affiliate link for the top deal, it is still included in exactly the same way, just with a non-paying link.
