YSL logoSOLD OUT - £50 YSL make-up set £33Products bought separately £85+. Incl Touche Éclat & mascara

MSE UPDATE 10am Wed 28 Jan: We originally wrote this deal as a Feel Unique offer, however all 500 sets sold out overnight. There were a few sets available this morning at Debenhams, but they have now sold out too.

For posh make-up at an unusually low price, go online to Debenhams* where you can get an Yves Saint Laurent Radiant make-up gift set for £33 (was £49.50), delivery's £3.99 or you can collect in store for free. We think these sets will go super quickly. Bought separately the products would cost more than £85, £95+ if you include the make-up bag as well.

What's in the make-up set?

  • YSL Forever Youth Liberator serum - 15ml (cheapest we found, £45 at John Lewis)
  • YSL Touche Éclat original shade concealer - 2.5ml (cheapest we found, £19.95 at
  • YSL Volume Effet Faux Cils mascara – 7.5ml (cheapest we found, £19.95 at
  • YSL branded make-up bag - black (similar ones go for £10ish online)

There are currently two YSL make-up freebies up for grabs.

* Forever Youth Liberator foundation sample, House of Fraser. Head to your nearest House of Fraser with a YSL counter, and ask for a free 5ml sample. There are roughly 4,000 still available nationwide (as of Tue 3 Sep), until Mon 30 Sep, subject to stock.

* Touche Éclat foundation sample, any YSL counter. You can also get a free 5ml sample of Touche Éclat foundation. Simply head to ANY YSL counter (including House of Fraser) and ask for one. There are 90,000 available nationwide until Mon 30 Sep, subject to stock.

The samples are both 5ml so we've calculated the equivalent value to be £5.60 for the Forever Youth Liberator foundation and £4.80 for the Touche Éclat foundation.

MSE Debs says:

YSL has confirmed you can get both free samples from a counter at House of Fraser. However, as there are only 16,000 samples of the new Youth Liberator foundation you might miss out on this one if you wait until they're both available.

'Like' the Yves Saint Laurent Facebook page and register your details. Then print the voucher and take it to your nearest YSL counter to get a free 5ml sample of Le Teint Touche Eclat foundation till Fri 10 May (or before that, if all the samples run out). YSL counters are often in larger department stores, such as Debenhams and John Lewis.
MSE Debs says:

The full-size product (30ml) usually costs £29 so we've calculated this 5ml sample to be worth around £4.80.

MSE UPDATE Tue 12 Feb 2013: YSL has run out of most foundation shade samples across key counters nationwide, so call ahead to check if your nearest has any in stock.

'Like' Yves Saint Laurent's Facebook page, select 'click to enter' then 'go to sample' and register your details.

Important note: We've had reports that the link above is not working on mobiles and tablets. So try it on a computer.

You'll get an email with your voucher to take to any YSL counter by Wed 20 Feb, or before 200,000 samples go (whichever's first). The voucher gets you both the foundation and serum.

YSL will match the foundation with your skin tone, then give you your shade in a little glass bottle, as well as 1 x 5ml samples of the serum. The full-size foundation (30ml) costs £29 and full-size serum (30ml) £60. The samples are both 5ml so we've calculated the equivalent value to be £4.67 for the foundation and £10 for the Serum.

MSE Charlotte says:

We've avoided using the word 'worth' because it's questionable that such a small amount of anything is 'worth' so much (even if it's posh skincare).
