Big six energy provider Npower is under fire from customers who've received huge bills months, and in some cases over a year, since they left the firm.
Scottish Power has agreed to pay £750,000 to charity as well as a £1 fine to Ofgem after the energy regulator found faults in the way it calculated customers' prices.
Energy customers will be able to switch providers in two and a half weeks – half the time it currently takes – by the end of the year, the Government said today.
