Adidas 'up to 50% off' Black Friday sale *

Across 1,000s of women's, men's and kids' clothing, shoes & accessories

If you go online to sportswear brand Adidas*, you can get 'up to 50% off' selected items for Black Friday. Some discounts are for its 'adiClub' members only (which is free to join), but despite its messaging a lot of discounts are open to non-members too. When we checked on Monday 1 December, there were over 6,000 items included. As we predicted, this sale boosted on Black Friday to 'up to 60% off'.

What does ‘up to 50% off almost everything' mean?

Min discount: 20%
Max discount: 60%
Typical discount we found on ten random items: 36%

There's no code needed – the discount will be clearly marked on the item and automatically applied at the checkout.

Delivery's free for 'adiClub' members – see what else a membership gets you. Standard delivery’s £3.99 or free if you're spending over £40.

Here are some examples we spotted on Monday 1 December:

Important: Don’t allow yourself to be taken in by the hype around Black Friday and be sucked into buying something you don’t need or can’t afford. Always do your own price comparisons to ensure you are getting the best deal possible – don’t just take a retailer’s word for it.

Adidas Black Friday prediction

Up to 50% off, boosting to up to 60% off on Black Friday

🗓️ Predicted from Tuesday 18 November (up to 50% off), then from Friday 28 November for up to 60% off, till Monday 1 December

Last year, members of the Adidas* adiClub (its free loyalty scheme) got early access to deals at up to 50% off, but then the discount deepened to up to 60% off on Black Friday itself, and was open to all. Unless there's something you really want and don't want to risk it going out of stock, this is one where you could be better off waiting for a stronger deal.

Free protection for all shopping!

There's a little-known piece of legislation that turns any credit card into a financial self-defence superhero. 'Section 75' of the Consumer Credit Act means your plastic must protect anything you buy for more than £100 for free, so if there's a problem or the company goes bust, you can still get your money back.
And although Section 75 doesn't apply to debit cards, there is something else to fall back on if you've paid using a debit card, or used a credit card for a purchase under £100. Known as Chargeback, this is part of banks' and card companies' internal rules and not a legal requirement. Read full details of Section 75 or Chargeback, plus how to claim, in our guides.
What the * means above
If a link has an * by it, that means it is an affiliated link and therefore it helps MoneySavingExpert stay free to use, as it is tracked to us. If you go through it, it can sometimes result in a payment or benefit to the site. It's worth noting this means the third party used may be named on any credit agreements.
You shouldn’t notice any difference and the link will never negatively impact the product. Plus the editorial line (the things we write) is NEVER impacted by these links. We aim to look at all available products. If it isn't possible to get an affiliate link for the top deal, it is still included in exactly the same way, just with a non-paying link.
