    Sign up online at Bella Italia for a code to get a £1 kids' meal for each adult main purchased, valid from noon Sun-Fri at most restaurants until Sun 5 May.

    Some locations, times and additional dates are excluded depending on the restaurant – see 'More info' below for full exclusions.

    The 'free' kids' meal includes a main from the 'Piccolo' (ages 2-6) or 'Grande' (ages 7-11) menu, a starter, dessert and unlimited squash (norm £5.95-£7.95 all-in).

    Only one code can be used per table, up to a maximum of three 'free' kids' meals – just show the code when you ask for your bill.

    Say the phrase 'Big Bella's Pancake Giveaway' on Pancake Day

    On Tue 5 Mar (Pancake Day), Bella Italia is offering free pancakes at most of its restaurants – see below for exclusions.

    There's no code or voucher required, you just need to say the phrase 'Big Bella's Pancake Giveaway' before you sit down to get two free pancakes and a choice of syrup, or chocolate or strawberry sauce when you dine in.

    There's no purchase required but the offer's subject to availability, so it's best to go early to avoid disappointment. Some branches open for breakfast at 8am, so check ahead for your local's opening hours. 

    You can get the free pancakes on top of other Bella Italia offers – see our Restaurants deals page – but you can't get the freebie on takeaway or delivery orders, and it's not available at Bella Italia airport restaurants, Center Parcs, or Edinburgh Northbridge.

There's a little-known piece of legislation that turns any credit card into a financial self-defence superhero. 'Section 75' of the Consumer Credit Act means your plastic must protect anything you buy for more than £100 for free, so if there's a problem or the company goes bust, you can still get your money back.
