If you click a link with an * to go through to a provider, we may get paid. This usually only happens if you get a product from it. This is what funds our team of journalists, and keeps us free to use. Yet there are two crucial things you need to know about this.
- This never impacts our editorial recommendations – if it's in, it's in there because we independently rate it best.
- You'll always get as good a deal (or better) than if you went direct.

HMV 2 for £25 on selected vinyl
In stores & online. Incl Amy Winehouse, David Bowie
ExpiredIf you go online to HMV* or into a store (find your nearest*) there's a '2 for £25' on selected vinyl - both classic albums and recent releases - until Fri 19 Oct. Delivery's free.
When we looked online on Mon 8 Oct, there were 100+ albums* from a diverse mix of artists including Amy Winehouse, David Bowie, Fleetwood Mac, Harry Styles and Nirvana.
Of course, you shouldn't assume HMV will be cheapest - even with this offer. As always, compare prices elsewhere before you buy to make sure you're getting the best deal.

HMV up to 50% off selected vinyl LPs
Online & in stores. Incl recent & classic albums
ExpiredIf you go online to HMV* or into a store (find your nearest*) you can find discounts of up to 50% off a selection of vinyl LPs, until 11.59pm on Sun 17 Jun - which coincidentally, or not, just so happens to be Father's Day. Delivery's £2 or free if you're spending £10 or more, or you can collect from a store for free. Yet if vinyl seems a little 'last century', see our guide on Free Music Streaming.
When we looked online on Mon 11 Jun, we found a varied mix of 130+ records including both classic albums and more recent releases. Here are just a few examples:
- The Who - My Generation* for £7.99, was £20.99 (next cheapest we found, £13.94 at Amazon)
- Nirvana - In Utero* for £9.99, was £20.99 (next cheapest we found, £15.95 at Fruugo)
- Florence & The Machine - How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful* for £10.99, was £23.99 (next cheapest we found, £20.96 at Amazon)
- Lou Reed - Transformer* for £12.99, was £19.99 (next cheapest we found, £14.99 at Zoom)
- The Smiths - The Queen Is Dead* for £12.99, was £20.99 (same price at Amazon)
While we did manage to find some of the selection on sale at the same price on Amazon, we couldn't find any of the 20-or-so we looked at cheaper elsewhere. Yet even with the discount, HMV may not always be cheapest so always do your own price comparisons before buying.
