  • There are always ways to save money at New Look*, so even if there isn’t a cracking deal out there that works for you, don’t assume you can’t cut your costs further.

    Ways to save include:

    • Free Click & Collect on orders over £19.99. Delivery costs £3.99, so if you've got between £16 and £19.99 worth of stuff in your basket online, it's worth checking whether there's an item you could add to make your total £19.99, so you can pick up from a store for free.

    • Try and get a discount by abandoning your online shopping basket. In our Shopping Secrets guide we've compiled a list of online discounts that Forumites say they've received after abandoning an item in their shopping basket. We can't guarantee you'll get a discount, but a Forumite told us they were offered 20% off, so it's worth a try.

    • Try haggling. In May 2016 we polled 1,400 MoneySavers to see in which shops they had most success. High street fashion retailers did feature - so it's worth a go. Find out more in our Haggle on the High Street guide.

    • Check out similar retailers, eg, H&M and other fashion retailers. If you're not committed to buying from New Look, check out our deals from H&MAsosNextTopshopTopman and Zara.

    • Had a problem with New Look? There’s a free online tool you can use to complain – it helps draft, manage and if necessary escalate your complaint. It’s offered by a firm called Resolver, which we like so much we work with it to help people get complaints justice – you can use it to complain to New Look*.

If you spot any hot deals out there we have missed (we are human after all!), please let us know on Twitter @MSE_Deals or by emailing

  • Students can get 10% off online at New Look via Unidays. To get the discount, you'll need to verify your email address via Unidays. You'll then be given a unique code, which you can apply at checkout.

  • New Look 'up to 60% off' sale

New Look 'up to 60% off' sale

Across women's, men's and kids'. Likely an extra 10% off in January

High-street retailer New Look* started its 'up to 60% off' sale on Thursday 14 December online and in stores.

Last year, the sale didn't boost to 'up to 70% off' online, but it did in stores. However, in 2021, email subscribers could get an extra 10% off the sale online via a code. We reckon it could do the same this year and offer an extra 10% off at the beginning of January.

When we checked on Wednesday 27 December there were over 11,000 items included in the sale. Here are some strong examples we found:

As is the nature of sales, stock is limited, so go quick if there's something in particular you're after.

What does ‘up to 60% off' mean?

    Min discount we saw: 21%
    Max discount we saw: 73%
Average discount based on 10 random items: 43%

What is the discount based on: The Advertising Standards Agency has previously stated that at least 10% of items should be available at the 'up to' price.

Looking for another sale? H&M currently has up to 50% off.

  • New Look 'up to 50% off' Black Friday sale

New Look 'up to 50% off' Black Friday sale

    Across women's, men's and kids'

Update Monday 27 November: You can get an extra 10% off with the code EXTRA10 until 11.59pm on Monday 27 November.

New Look* has 'up to 50% off' in its Black Friday sale. It was initially 'up to 40% off' for its 'warm-up' Black Friday event.

Last year, the discount on Black Friday was 'up to 50% off' and didn't boost on Cyber Monday. Then, New Look had an 'up to 60% off' in its Boxing Day sale. With this in mind, it could be worth holding out to buy any evergreen basics such as jeans, until after Christmas.

Here's what we found when we looked on Thursday 16 November:

Delivery costs £2.99 or free when you spend £50 or more, and collection in-store (find your nearest*) is £1.99 or free when you spend £19.99 or more. Both spending totals don't include sale items, which we think is cheeky.

Important: Don't allow yourself to be taken in by the hype around Black Friday and be sucked into buying something you don't need or can't afford. Always do your own price comparisons to ensure you are getting the best deal possible – don't just take a retailer's word for it.

See our Black Friday Sales page for a full list of what's on.
