If you go to the PG Tips website, you can get a digital coupon for a free box of 20 PG Tips Plus teabags, up to the value of £2.50, valid at participating Co-op stores only, not online. As we've found PG Tips for £2.50 at Co-op, the coupon makes this a freebie. If you have trouble clicking the offer link on the PG Tips website on desktop/laptop, try it on mobile as from our experience that worked every time.
Only get this coupon if you were planning to go to a Co-op store anyway as it's important to shop safely during the pandemic. Regarding the freebie itself, we've seen successes from MoneySavers and the promotion has been verified by PG Tips, but of course it's subject to availability as not all stores will have stock. For example, we've heard that some 'green logo' Co-op stores in the East of England aren't stocking it.
You'll have 10 days to use the coupon from when you sign up, and when we tried it took about an hour for the link to the coupon to come through as a text message.
The coupon's available until Wed 17 Feb, or when 7,000 are claimed so go quick if you want it. Unlike a regular printable coupon, this coupon is digital and can only be used by showing it on your smartphone, which means you'll need to give your mobile number to get it.

If you pledge to share a cuppa with someone on the PG Tips website, you can get a coupon for up to £2.71 off a box of 80 teabags, making them free at most retailers. The coupon will be sent to your house, and it's one per household.
The coupon's valid until Thu 8 Aug, and there's 100,000 available while stocks last. When we asked on Mon 10 Jun, PG Tips told us about half had already been claimed so go quickly if this is something you'd like.

There's a little-known piece of legislation that turns any credit card into a financial self-defence superhero. 'Section 75' of the Consumer Credit Act means your plastic must protect anything you buy for more than £100 for free, so if there's a problem or the company goes bust, you can still get your money back.
And although Section 75 doesn't apply to debit cards, there is something else to fall back on if you've paid using a debit card, or used a credit card for a purchase under £100.
